Rebecca Schuetz is our Child Life Specialist. She watches kids go through cancer treatment every day.

CBS News Atlanta asked her what yesterday's $150,000 grant
changes for them.

Watch what she said.

Today is Dunkin' Iced Coffee Day. Every iced coffee and cold brew funds the next room.

A generous donation is helping the Emory Proton Therapy Center create a brighter, more playful space for children battling cancer. The $150,000 grant aims to bring comfort and joy to young patients and their families, turning fear into hope during their treatment journey.

A coffee company gave us a $150,000 check yesterday.

The Dunkin' Joy in Childhood Foundation supported the creation of a dedicated pediatric waiting space at the Emory Proton Therapy Center. A room where being 7 looks like being 7, not like being sick.

We can't tell you what that means to a parent. You can probably guess.

Today is Dunkin' Iced Coffee Day. $1 from every iced coffee and cold brew sold nationwide funds rooms like this in hospitals across the country. If you're getting coffee anyway, get it today.

Thank you , ', and the Atlanta franchisees who showed up for our kids.

On March 12th, what would have been Yuvi's birthday, our team decorated the cart and kept it out for an extra day to honor him. To the Tiwari familythank you for this gift. We are lucky to have it in our center.

Yuvi's Library lives at Emory Proton Therapy Center, a collection of books pediatric patients can pick out and keep, created in memory of Yuvi Tiwari by the Yuvaan Tiwari Foundation . A family that went through the hardest thing imaginable came back to make it a little easier for the kids who come after him.

On March 12th, what would have been Yuvi's birthday, our team decorated the cart and kept it out for an extra day to honor him. To the Tiwari family—thank you for this gift. We are lucky to have it in our center.

As the year comes to a close, we want to pause and say thank you.

Earlier this year, 5,000 patients trusted us with their care. That trust carries weight. It’s a responsibility we take seriously every day.

This moment is about gratitude. To our patients. To their families. To the clinicians and staff who make this work possible.

Not every award means something. But this one does.

Dr. Pretesh Patel and Dr. Sagar Patel were named 2025 Top Docs by Atlanta magazine. Chosen by their peers, people who know what great care really looks like behind the scenes.

It’s a quiet kind of excellence. No headline needed. Just decades of trust earned patient by patient, colleague by colleague.
