MARR Addiction Treatment Centers

MARR Addiction Treatment Centers Established in 1975, MARR provides quality addiction treatment and family support.

MARR is accredited by The Joint Commission, a member of the National Association of Addiction Treatment Programs (NAATP), and fully licensed under the laws of the State of Georgia. MARR is recognized as one of the leading addiction treatment programs in the United States. A Board of Trustees oversees the organization to ensure the mission is achieved and that MARR remains a leader in the treatment

of chemical dependency and rehab centers nationwide. Each trustee demonstrates leadership, community involvement, philanthropy, professional and/or personal achievement, as well as an ongoing commitment to the values and mission of MARR. Today, MARR continues the tradition of setting the standard in long-term addiction treatment for chemically dependent men and women in a residential setting.

What happens when things finally start to feel calm?

No chaos to react to.
No constant noise pulling you in every direction.
Just space - and the reality of sitting in it.

At MARR, that’s a moment people don’t expect.

Because when everything slows down, you’re faced with something new - learning how to live without the patterns that once filled that space.

Recovery doesn't end at discharge - it grows in community.

We are so grateful for every MARR alumni who has done the hard, courageous work of choosing recovery and building a life worth living. You are living proof that healing is possible, and that it lasts.

Join us on June 6th for the MARR Alumni Appreciation Picnic - a time to reconnect, reflect, and celebrate how far you've come.

This is your community.

These are your people.

And we are so proud to walk alongside you - not just through treatment, but for life.

Recovery doesn’t end when treatment does. It grows in community.

Camp Donnie Brown is where alumni gather to reconnect, reflect, and strengthen the foundation they’ve built.

It’s where encouragement is shared freely, milestones are celebrated, and lasting bonds are formed.

Through The Gift of Recovery, you can help ensure that financial barriers never stand in the way of connection, fellowship, and continued growth.

Your generosity extends the impact of recovery far beyond our walls.

Give today and be part of something that lasts: https://loom.ly/HPkOGX8

It’s easy to confuse what you’re going through with who you are.

But struggling doesn’t make you a bad person.

It means something needs care, attention, and support.

At MARR, that’s the shift we see all the time.

When you stop carrying shame as your identity, it opens the door to real change.

People talk about hope like it’s where everything begins.

But for most people, it doesn’t feel like hope at all.

It feels like admitting something you’ve been avoiding.

Saying it out loud for the first time.

Facing parts of yourself you’d rather ignore.

It’s uncomfortable.
It’s raw.
It doesn’t feel inspiring.

But that’s the moment things actually start to change.

Because real recovery doesn’t begin with feeling better - it begins with telling the truth.

There’s a lot that comes with starting over.

Figuring out how to respond instead of react.

Learning how to be honest - even when it’s hard.

Taking responsibility in a way that actually moves you forward.

It’s not easy, but it’s real.

And it matters.

Control can feel like the only thing holding you together.

So you grip tighter.
You manage more.
You keep everything in place.

But underneath, nothing really shifts - just gets quieter.

Getting better doesn’t start with having more control.

It starts the moment you stop trying to hold everything so tightly.

Because sometimes the real change begins when you finally let go.

Ready for what’s next?

Not what’s familiar. Not what’s comfortable.

Something real.

At MARR, this is where a different kind of life starts to take shape - one you actually get to be present for.

To every MARR alumni - thank you for being part of our story.

For more than 50 years, we've had the privilege of walking alongside individuals and families through some of the hardest and most transformative seasons of life.

Watching our alumni thrive, grow, and build lives rooted in lasting recovery is why we do what we do - and it never gets old.

We'd love to see you on June 6th, from 10AM–2PM at Camp Donnie Brown in Canton, GA.

Come share a meal and reconnect with familiar faces.

Because being seen for who you are - not what you’ve been through - changes everything.

And at MARR, that’s exactly what you’ll find.
