Your squat isn’t just about ankle mobility.

A good squat is the result of multiple joints working together.

If you’re constantly feeling stiff, getting stuck at the bottom, or your heels keep wanting to come off the floor, try spending a few minutes on these drills before your next leg day:

✅ Hamstring swings
✅ Calf stretch on a box
✅ Banded fire hydrants
✅ Banded air squats

Remember: mobility isn’t about becoming as flexible as possible. It’s about having enough movement where you need it so your body can move efficiently.

Try these as part of your warm-up and let me know which one makes the biggest difference for your squat. 👇

You don’t need an hour-long mobility routine to feel better.

If I only had 10 minutes each day to improve the way my body moves, these are the exercises I’d start with.

The goal isn’t to become more flexible overnight.

It’s to help your hips, spine, shoulders, and rib cage move the way they’re designed to—because when your body moves well, everything else becomes easier.

Whether you’re lifting weights, sitting at a desk all day, running, dealing with stiffness, or trying to improve your pelvic floor health, a few minutes of intentional movement can go a long way.

💡 Save this routine and come back to it whenever you need a quick mobility reset.

Which exercise is your favorite? Let me know below. 👇

Most people think pelvic floor dilators are meant to stretch tight muscles.

Not exactly.

The goal isn’t to force your way through discomfort. It’s to gradually help your pelvic floor become more comfortable with stretch—without triggering pain or guarding.

That’s why the biggest mistakes I see are:
❌ Going too fast
❌ Using too much force
❌ Skipping lubricant
❌ Pushing through pain
❌ Jumping to a larger size too soon

Instead, think slow, gentle, and consistent. Your pelvic floor responds much better to repeated comfortable experiences than it does to forcing progress.

And remember—a dilator is just one tool.

If you’re dealing with:
• Pelvic pain
• Constipation
• Painful bowel movements
• Hemorrhoids
• A**l fissures
• Pain with receptive pe*******on

…the real goal is figuring out why your pelvic floor became overactive in the first place—not just inserting a dilator and hoping for the best.

That’s exactly what I teach inside The Pelvic Reset.

👇 Have you ever been told to use a pelvic floor dilator? What questions do you still have? Let me know in the comments, and I may answer them in a future video.

Most men with pelvic pain have been told at least one of these.

❌ “It’s your prostate.”
❌ “Just do more Kegels.”
❌ “Your MRI is normal, so you’re fine.”
❌ “It’s probably just stress.”

The problem?

Many of these explanations are incomplete—or just plain wrong.

I’ve worked with hundreds of men struggling with pelvic pain, urinary symptoms, painful ej*******on, erectile dysfunction, and “chronic prostatitis.”

More often than not, their prostate wasn’t the real problem.

Their pelvic floor was.

Understanding what’s actually driving your symptoms is the first step toward getting better.

👇 Comment “GUIDE” and I’ll send you my FREE Male Pelvic Health Starter Guide, where I break down:
✅ What the pelvic floor actually does
✅ Why these symptoms happen
✅ The 3 best places to start if you’re trying to recover

Save this post so you can come back to it—and send it to someone who’s been told to “you have prostatitis.”

I know… the title is ridiculous. 😂 But hear me out.

As a pelvic floor physical therapist, I perform internal re**al exams when they’re clinically indicated—not because they’re fun, but because they can reveal things that imaging, blood work, and other tests often miss.

If you’ve been dealing with:
• Pain sitting
• Pelvic pain
• Painful ej*******on
• Urinary urgency or frequency
• “Prostatitis” that never gets better
• Constipation
• Painful bowel movements

…your pelvic floor muscles might actually be part of the problem.

An internal exam can help determine whether those muscles are tight, painful, weak, uncoordinated, or referring pain into the p***s, testicles, re**um, or lower abdomen.

And yes… sometimes you just have a tight a$$. 😅

If you’re dealing with pelvic pain and don’t know where to start, I put together a free Men’s Pelvic Health Starter Guide that walks you through the first steps I teach my own patients.

There’s nothing better than hearing:

“I finally sat through a movie.”
“I’m sleeping through the night again.”
“Sex doesn’t hurt anymore.”
“I stopped thinking about my pelvis every second of the day.”

Those are the messages that make all of this worth it.

If you’ve been told it’s “just chronic prostatitis” or that you’ll “have to live with it,” I want you to know there are often things you can do to improve your symptoms.

That’s exactly why I created The Pelvic Reset—a step-by-step program to help men understand why pelvic pain happens and how to start addressing it with practical strategies, mobility, breathing, exercise, and education.

Most men with pelvic pain spend years asking the wrong question.

❌ “What’s wrong with my prostate?”
❌ “Do I have an infection?”
❌ “Is something permanently damaged?”

But if you were sitting in my clinic, these are the things I’d be checking first.

Because chronic pelvic pain, prostatitis symptoms, urinary urgency, erectile dysfunction, and pelvic tension often have a lot more to do with how your body is functioning than whether something is “broken.”

The frustrating part?

Most men never get asked these questions.

They’re given antibiotics.
They’re told to do Kegels.
They’re told everything looks normal.

And then they’re sent home wondering why they’re still struggling.

Swipe through these slides and see how many apply to you.
