Cheers to 50 Years!

Peachford Hospital is proud to recognize our Medical Records Manager, Elma Floyd, upon reaching an incredible milestone of 50 Years at Peachford Hospital. Elma started work at Peachford in November of 1975. At that time, the hospital itself wasn’t even two years old. And since that time, Elma has been a stalwart member of the Peachford Team.

She is known for arriving work early – sometimes as early as 4 a.m. – walking the halls to all 8 units of the hospital to gather charts and say hello to co-workers before most patients are even out of bed. At the recent celebration in her honor, colleagues shared stories of Elma’s incredible ability to make you smile, to help you with any project and train you on best practices to help you do your job. She was certainly described as a team player. Elma, we congratulate and more importantly, we THANK YOU for your 50 years of dedication to the patients at Peachford Hospital. Your Peachford Hospital family appreciates you more than you will ever know.
