Why are we looking at your feet if your knee hurts? Like most joints, the knee doesn’t work in isolation.
The knee is heavily influenced by what’s happening below it.
Your foot and ankle play a key role in how force is absorbed and transferred when you walk, run, squat, or change direction. They help create a stable base, adapt to the ground, and guide how your body moves above.
If that system isn’t working as well, the knee often has to pick up the slack.
Limited ankle mobility can change how you load into movements and a less responsive foot can reduce your ability to absorb force.
At Inspire, we don’t just look at where you feel something, we look at how your whole system is working together!
