Tomorrow, Members are in for a treat as Rose Guerra presents "Falling" for Georgia Wildlife! Fall is a season of plenty for our furry and feathered neighbors, as mammals and birds fatten up before migrating south or settling in for the lean winter months. It's also the season of migrating monarchs, giant Joro spiders, and cocooning caterpillars. Rose will share the best fall food sources to provide and simple ways to create winter shelter for backyard wildlife. A delightful program for nature lovers and the simply curious alike.

At The Terraces at Peachtree Hills Place, our on-site Wellness Clinic places geriatricians right where Members live, physicians who invest in personal relationships and in improving outcomes. With access to our Medical Director in every Household, expert medical guidance stays close at hand whether a Member lives in Assisted Living, Memory Care, Short-Term Rehabilitation, or Skilled Nursing.

Our Wellness Center pairs a highly trained health services team with state-of-the-art surroundings designed for rest and healing. Licensed nurses are on-site around the clock, physical, occupational, and speech therapy are delivered on campus, and clinical teams are matched to every level of care, from CMAs and LPNs in Assisted Living and Memory Care to CNAs, LPNs, and RNs in Skilled Nursing and Short-Term Rehabilitation. Designed for every ability level, our class can be enjoyed standing or seated, with a focus on breathing, flowing movement, and improving overall function. For older adults, Tai Chi is especially rewarding. Its slow, deliberate movements build balance, strength, and flexibility, helping reduce the risk of falls, while its calming rhythm eases stress and brings a lasting sense of peace. Here, well-being for mind, body, and spirit is simply part of everyday life.

It is a full and joyful week at The Terraces. It begins with a very special visit from two dwarf goats for a mini petting zoo on campus, bringing plenty of smiles and gentle moments.
