Someone asks what you want for dinner, or for your birthday, or for the next few years, and you realize you have no idea. You know what everyone else needs. You could make a list. But your own answer has gotten hard to hear.

That’s what Your Body, Your Voice, Your Desire is about. It’s a half-day workshop I’m leading at AUM Studio for Wellness in Alpharetta, and we spend the afternoon listening to ourselves again. We’ll move through some gentle, feminine yoga, write a little, and talk honestly with other women about the habits that taught so many of us to push our own needs aside.

You don’t need any yoga experience, and you don’t need to have it figured out. Just come as you are.

This week's the week, if you've been thinking about joining the Fall Workshop.

A few people always tell me they want to come but they're waiting until things calm down enough to actually show up. I get it, I do the same thing. But things don't really ever fully calm down these days, do they? You mostly just have to decide to stop, mid-mess, guilt and all, like the rest of us.

Most of us were never actually taught how to pause, just how to keep going.

That's kind of the whole workshop, honestly. An actual, willing pause, a place to land for a few hours, with other women who also haven't gotten their lives fully sorted out either. None of us ever really do, and that's sort of the point.

Saturday, September 19th, 10a-1p, Zoom. Link in comments if you want in. 🍁

When was the last time you stopped to notice something you did well, instead of moving straight to the next thing on the list? I ask because I do this quite a bit… finish something, immediately start planning the next something, and then wonder why I lose steam.

Somewhere we all absorbed the same message, that pausing means falling behind. It's not true. It's just loud, especially right now, when everything already feels like it's spinning a little faster than usual.

That's basically the whole point of my Fall workshop. I call it harvesting, which sounds a little woo, but it's really just: what worked, what didn't, what am I ready to let go of, without needing to have it all figured out first.

We do it together, in a group, because it's a lot harder to skip past your own life when there are other women in the space nodding along, and when you set aside time for it instead of pushing it to the bottom of the list.

Saturday, 9/19, online, 3 hours. Link's below in comments if you want in. 🍁

I've been running this workshop every season for two years now.

At this point it's basically a quarterly appointment with myself and a small group of women who show up to do the same thing: stop, actually look at what's been happening, and figure out what's worth carrying into the next few months. It’s usually the women who are best at holding everything together who need this the most.

Most of us were handed a straight-line idea of how life is supposed to work: always up, always more, always next. Fall doesn’t fit that model, which is probably exactly why we skip it, especially when everything already feels like it’s moving too fast to catch your breath.

🍁 Fall's version is Saturday, 9/19. A few hours where a group of women S L O W D O W N together, and have some deeper conversation, which somehow makes it easier than sitting alone at your kitchen table at 11pm staring at your blank journal (ask me how I know).

If that sounds like something you need right now, join us. Link in comments.

We are part of nature, and nature doesn’t bloom all year. That would be ridiculous.

But is there a part of you that believes rest has to be earned? That you have to do enough, produce enough, give enough, hold enough, or prove enough before you’re allowed to pause?

If that belief lives somewhere in you, you’re not alone. Our culture whispers, shouts, and yells this message at us all the time.

In the way we glorify being busy. In the way we praise women for holding everything together. In the way productivity gets treated like a measure of worth.

This is one of the reasons I practice and teach cyclical living. It reminds me that there is another way to be in relationship with my body, my work, my energy, and my life.

My online workshop, Bloom Without Burning Out, is this Saturday, and we’ll be exploring Summer not as the season of “more, more, MORE!” but as a season of tending what matters without abandoning ourselves in the process.

It will be a small, thoughtful space with reflection, conversation, seasonal wisdom, and a grounding yoga practice. If this speaks to where you are right now, I’d love to have you join us. And if you know a woman who could use this kind of support, please feel free to send it her way.

I’ve been exploring the word TENDING lately as I prepare for my next workshop.

Tending feels different than managing, controlling, or checking something off the list so I can move on to the next thing. It feels more relational. It asks me to pay attention to what is actually here, to notice what needs care, and to return with more patience and presence.

And I can see how easily I lose touch with this. When I get excited about something I’m growing, I can slip into pushing without even realizing it. I start rushing, clenching, trying to make it happen faster, and somewhere along the way, I lose connection with the desire that started it all.

Maybe you know that feeling too. Maybe it shows up in your work, your relationships, your body, your healing, or even in the way you approach your own self-care.

Summer, in its deeper wisdom, invites us into a more sustainable relationship with growth. It asks us to notice what is growing, what is draining us, what needs nourishment, and what may need to be released for now.

That is part of what we’ll be exploring in Bloom Without Burning Out. How do we stay close to what matters without abandoning ourselves in the process?

I’d love to have you join us if this speaks to where you are right now. Link to learn more + sign up in comments ♡

JOIN ME THIS SATURDAY, MAY 30th at Peachtree Yoga Center for Your Body, Your Voice, Your Desire Workshop.

So many of the beliefs women carry do not start with us, even though they can feel very personal once they live inside our bodies.

Somewhere along the way, many of us learn that we need to be pleasing to be loved, that our bodies are problems to fix, that our needs are inconvenient, that our anger is too much, or that our voices need to sound rational before they are worthy of being heard.

We learned to hold a lot, do a lot, and somehow still stay soft, calm, attractive, and available.

And often, it is not until we sit with other women that we realize how many of us have been swimming in the same messages.

This is part of what we’ll be exploring.

Through movement, reflection, teaching, and conversation, we’ll create space to see what we’ve been carrying, soften what no longer belongs, and reconnect with the body, voice, and desire underneath all the collective conditioning.

If this speaks to you, there are still a few spots available. You can sign up here: https://nataliebiniasz.com/event-live-classes

Happy summer!

The beginning of this season always has me sensing into my own aliveness. The lushness, the warmth (before it gets too hot), the color, the fullness, and the way everything seems to be reaching toward the light.

And this energy is one of the inspirations for my latest IN PERSON workshop, Your Body, Your Voice, Your Desire.

So many women have inherited a very narrow idea of desire. It often gets tangled up with being selfish, sexual, indulgent, too much, or wanting something we are not supposed to want. And if that version of desire does not resonate, we may think the whole word does not belong to us.

But desire can be much simpler and more innocent than that. It can be a compass inside the body, pointing us toward what feels meaningful and ready to grow.

In this workshop, we’ll explore desire in a grounded and embodied way. We’ll listen for the places where your body may already know something your mind has not fully named yet.

This is a space to come back to yourself alongside other women.

I hope to see you next Saturday May 30th from 10a-1p ET at Peachtree Yoga Center.

Are you “shoulding” all over yourself?

Most of us are. As women, we are deeply attuned to the collective. We feel expectations in the air before anyone says them out loud. Our nervous systems track what is admired, what seems to be working, what everyone else is managing and without even realizing it, we begin making decisions from that place.

What I often see, especially with women who are capable and used to carrying a lot, is that we plant from the “shoulds.”

~ ~ ~ We look around and think we should be further along by now because other people seem to be.

~ ~ ~ We tell ourselves we should be doing more with our potential, so we add another project, certification, or commitment to an already full plate.

~ ~ ~ We believe we should have it more together by this stage of life, so instead of asking for support, we quietly push ourselves harder.

And then a few weeks in, the energy drops, resentment builds and we start questioning ourselves.

After years of efforting and proving, it can be surprisingly hard to tell what is internally true versus externally inherited.

This is exactly what we will explore in my upcoming Awaken + Bloom: Spring Equinox online workshop.

We’ll gather this Saturday, March 21st for conversation, movement, journaling, and grounding practices that help you come back home to yourself.
