If you’re an international traveler coming to Atlanta for FIFA, don’t just prepare for the events and nightlife. Consider the condition of your nervous system and ways you can keep yourself regulated during major events and high levels of stress.

Last night while me and my significant snuggler (hubby) drove home (in the rain) from a gathering, i whipped out my phone and captured just a few shots of the city

Regrettably I missed a LOT because i was mesmerized by the lights and i couldn’t believe how my city’s skyline had developed since I’ve moved to Atlanta many moons ago.

Welp, it makes perfect sense though because Atlanta is always constructing something new.

And one thing is for sure, Atlanta will build an entire community overnight it seems.

There’s always something new to discover here.

I like my ‘little’ city.

There’s no shame in resting. It’s natural, not lazy. Your body requires it. Do it without shame this weekend.

I suspected this artist was AI-generated long before there was proof. No shade at all — I actually like Inga Rose Music. But it really got me thinking about how much harder it’s becoming to recognize what’s real and what’s artificially created online.

And honestly… that’s bigger than music.

AI is evolving so fast that many of us are interacting with content, voices, images, and even personalities without fully realizing what we’re engaging with.

So I’m curious:
Does AI benefit society more than it harms it… or vice versa?

And beyond convenience and innovation, what are the potential human costs?
The psychological costs?
The social, financial, spiritual, and even environmental costs?

Not fear mongering. Just a real conversation about where all of this may be taking us.

There are a lot of people walking around functioning at a high level… and quietly carrying more than their mind and body have had a chance to process.

If you’re a professional, a leader, a parent, caregiver, or someone others rely on; you may already be used to pushing through your day without pause.

You are problably really good at getting things done and showing up for others.

You manage what needs to be managed and then you move on to the next thing.

But what often gets left behind is YOU. Your internal experience, your body, your nervous system, heck ... sometimes your emotional world.

This is where becomes essential.

When our minds and bodies doesn’t happen consistently, your body doesn’t just reset on its own. Instead, activation builds over time and before you know it ...🤯

I see this all of the time, especially in mom's whose second job starts the minute they enter the home.

That build up can look like:

* 'snapping' and irritability that feels out of character

* 'huffing and puffing', mental fatigue and difficulty focusing

* emotional overwhelm without a clear cause

* psychomotor agitation or tension in the body (jaw, shoulders, chest, stomach, rolling the eyes, sucking teeth, etc)

* trouble sleeping or fully relaxing

This is what happens when the doesn’t get the signal that it’s safe to power down.

Check out the article below to learn how to decompress in real time (examples on to COMMUNICATE this with others) 👇🏼
