Last week, the ceramics studio came to The Piedmont at Buckhead! 🎨

The Georgia Art Company joined our residents for a hands-on ceramics session, inviting everyone to personalize and paint their own pieces. Next, the creations will head to the kiln to be fired before returning to our residents as finished works of art.

Jeannette and Jeffrey opened “Jay’s Coffee Shop” for the day, serving up fresh coffee to help our team start their morning with a boost. It was a simple way to say thank you for the work and dedication our team brings to TPB each day.

A taste of Italy came to The Piedmont at Buckhead, courtesy of Sous Chef Peter and our latest culinary experience! 🇮🇹🍝

Drawing on the culinary skills he learned in Europe, Peter treated our residents to a masterclass featuring chicken gnocchi soup, lamb ravioli in marinara, butternut squash with ricotta, bucatini in puttanesca sauce, and farfalle with pesto. With each dish, our residents got to experience another flavor of Italy, and the aromas coming from the dining room were just as impressive as the menu.

Our community gathered for an intimate ceremony followed by a thoughtfully prepared dinner from our dining team, featuring egg salad, lox, bagels, and challah bread. The quiet evening offered our residents an opportunity to observe the holiday and share a meal together! 🤍

The Piedmont at Buckhead is finding new ways to give back! 🤝

Wisdom Works welcomed LaAmistad, Backpack Buddies of Metro Atlanta and North Fulton Community Charities to share their causes and connect with members of our community interested in volunteering. The visit sparked interest and several of our residents are now eager to put their time and talents toward supporting these organizations.

Stay tuned, we’ll have more to share as these new volunteer opportunities get underway!

If fall had a flavor at The Piedmont at Buckhead... it's unmistakably apple! 🍎🍂

We sent summer off with a festival menu that covered nearly every variation: apple c***r, hard c***r, bourbon c***r, apple pie, apple cobbler, AND apple-and-brie toast.

Rhythm and Rogue supplied the soundtrack while our Zest team kept the games and drinks flowing. TPB residents moved between co****le, a shooting gallery, and flower arranging, until the afternoon took an unexpected turn with a pop-up “Pie Your ED” challenge! 🥧

That’s one way to make the first taste of fall memorable. Stay tuned to see how TPB does fall!

Ciera, Martha, Kathleen and Jackie are familiar faces in our Assisted Living neighborhood, supporting our residents day in and day out and even helping them get to and from programs throughout the community. Led by our Director of Assisted Living, Kiesha Gardner, this team is always ready to step in and get the job done.
