One of my recent clients told me:

“ I know I’m still kind of early on my health journey with you, but the positive changes are already happening. I feel I’ve got a woman I can trust who knows what she’s doing has done her research and has the knowledge that you do and whose guidance has truly been life-changing to me”

Not because I promised a quick fix.

But because—for the first time—someone truly listened, looked at the body as a whole system and did the work it took to uncover what was out of whack.

They felt heard when they explained their symptoms.

They felt validated instead of dismissed.

They felt relief when I helped them understand what was actually happening in their body.

At Sol Natural Health, I don’t rush.

I test. I connect the dots. I look for the root cause. And then I explain it in a way that finally makes sense.

When your body is out of balance, it’s not failing you — it’s communicating.

And when you understand the message, healing no longer feels overwhelming… it feels possible.

If you’ve been told “everything looks normal” but don’t feel normal…

If you’ve lost trust in your body…

If you’re tired of doing this alone…

Please know this:
✨ You matter
✨ Your symptoms are real
✨ And there is a path back to balance

I’m here. And I would love to walk this journey with you.

What Time Do You Wake Up at Night? Tell me in the comments.

I want to see something.

How many of you wake up at 2am? 3am? 4am? Same time every night, wide awake, can't fall back asleep?

Comment your wake-up time below. I'm curious to see the pattern.

Here's why it matters:

In the second half of the night, your cortisol is supposed to rise slowly. But if your blood sugar crashes or your histamine spikes, your body panics and dumps cortisol + adrenaline too early.

You wake up wired.

Histamine climbs in the early morning (2-4am window is common), which is why you wake with a pounding heart or itchy skin. Your body is also doing a ton of overnight detox during those hours—if your drainage is sluggish or blood sugar is unstable, you get jolted awake.

The fix is simple:

• Small protein + fat snack before bed (stabilizes blood sugar)
• Magnesium glycinate before sleep (not citrate)
• Lower your overall histamine load
• Stop scrolling before bed (kill the nervous system activation)

So tell me—what time do you wake up? And be honest, do you feel rested?

Comment below. I want to see how many of you hit that 2-4am window.

What do you do for self-care — and how often do you actually do it? Tell me in the comments. 👇

Because here's the thing: self-care can't just be getting your nails done or a massage once a month. What are you doing daily to bring your nervous system back down?

Insulin and cortisol are the two biggest drivers behind your s*x hormone (estrogen, progesterone and testosterone) imbalances. So let's talk about it.

What are your boundaries? Do you know when to say no? What does the balance between work and home actually look like for you? Are you a people pleaser?

Here's the thing: as we age, our hormones naturally start to decline — and those hormones were our buffer. Once that buffer goes, we're forced to find out who we really are and what we actually need, because those needs are changing.

You can run all the labs. You can take all the supplements. You can even do HRT. But unless you change the way you manage stress, none of that is going to move the needle much. I know because I struggled with this too.

We're all busy. We're all trying to do all the things.

But think about how you feel sitting on the beach on vacation — not a care in the world, completely relaxed, loving life. That's the parasympathetic state we're supposed to live in most of the time — acute stress isn't the enemy, it's actually healthy and necessary, but we're meant to bounce back out of that sympathetic "fight or flight" response and return to rest and digest, not live there.

I'm not saying life is perfect — we're going to have stressors. But most of us are carrying way, way more than we're built to hold, and we're not shifting back out of that sympathetic state the way our bodies need us to.

You're "Not Hungry" in the Morning (And That's Exactly the Problem)

It's 6:30am. Kids are screaming. You grab coffee. No breakfast. You're running on caffeine and adrenaline.

By 10am you've answered 47 emails, driven carpool, and handled three meltdowns.

"I'm just not hungry in the morning," you tell yourself proudly.

Stop celebrating that.

Here's what's actually happening: Your nervous system is in overdrive. Stress hormones (cortisol and adrenaline) are suppressing your appetite. Caffeine is masking the problem. Your body has learned to function without fuel.

But you're not thriving. You're surviving.

You're running on stored fuel + stress hormones + caffeine. That's not metabolic health. That's your body adapting to chronic underfueling.

Then 2pm hits. You're crashed. You're irritable. You're snapping at your kids. Your hormones are tanked. Your thyroid is struggling. Your metabolism is slowing down.

Your body doesn't want a medal for ignoring hunger. It wants fuel.

When you eat breakfast—real food, protein, fat, yes carbs—your nervous system gets the signal: "We have energy available. I can relax." Your digestion can actually happen. Your blood sugar stabilizes. Your hormones regulate.

You stop needing three coffees to function.

The fix is simple: Stop running on stress hormones.

Eat breakfast. Feed your body. Let your nervous system calm down.

Message me. Let's rebuild your metabolism so you have real energy instead of borrowed adrenaline.

You're Eating Clean But Still Feeling Like Crap. Don’t give up! Here’s what might be going on…..

Picture this: You switched to organic, whole foods. You're doing everything "right." But you're still bloated after every meal. You're constipated no matter what you try. Your skin won't clear. You're exhausted.

Your doctor runs labs. Everything looks "normal."

But your digestion is broken.

Here's what's actually happening: Your stomach acid is low. That means protein isn't breaking down properly. Your bile flow is weak. That means fat isn't emulsifying, so you can't absorb vitamins A, D, E, K.

You could be eating the most nutrient-dense food on the planet, but if your body can't break it down and absorb it, you're still starving.

Low stomach acid shows up as: Bloating after meals, constipation that won't budge, reflux, nausea after fatty foods, stubborn acne, low B12 and ferritin even when you supplement.

Poor bile flow shows up as: Greasy stools, floating p**p, constipation alternating with diarrhea, that greasy sick feeling after eating fat.

The problem? These are interconnected. Your stomach, pancreas, liver, gallbladder, intestines—they're all one system. If one part fails, the whole thing starts cascading downward.

No amount of fiber or "eating cleaner" fixes this.

You need to actually restore your digestion.

Message me. Let's fix what's actually broken.

Your Frozen Shoulder Isn't a Shoulder Problem

You're in peri/menopause. Suddenly your shoulder locks up. Can't lift your arm. Can't reach behind your back. Sleep is miserable.

Your doctor says it's "frozen shoulder" and sends you to physical therapy or wants to give you an anti inflammatory.

But your frozen shoulder isn't a shoulder problem. It's your whole system screaming.

Here's what's actually happening:

Estrogen crashes. Estrogen is anti-inflammatory. When it drops in menopause, inflammation spikes everywhere—including your joints.

Magnesium depletes rapidly during peri/menopause. Hormonal chaos triggers chronic stress—your nervous system stays in overdrive, burning through magnesium constantly. Add coffee, a processed diet, poor digestion (common in menopause), and chronic inflammation—magnesium gets depleted from every angle. Your muscles can't relax. Your connective tissue tightens. Your shoulder locks.

Calcium-magnesium balance breaks. Without enough magnesium to balance it, calcium accumulates in soft tissues (tendons, fascia). Your shoulder becomes stiff and restricted. My HTMA shows this imbalance immediately. I can see exactly what's depleted and what's building up.

Blood sugar rises. High glucose caramelizes your collagen through AGEs. Your tissue literally becomes less flexible.

Nutrient absorption tanks. Poor digestion in menopause means you're not absorbing the minerals and vitamins needed to repair tissue. My functional bloodwork shows ferritin, B vitamins, and mineral status. That tells me if your body can actually heal.

Here's the truth: Frozen shoulder doesn't need more physical therapy or a shot. It needs mineral restoration, inflammation support, and actual nutritional repair.

And the good news? It's fixable.

Message me. Let's run your HTMA and labs. Let's actually fix this.

Ladies!! Your Nervous System Needs Minerals (Not Another Breathing App)

Are you burnt out? Screaming at your kids for nothing? Snapping at your husband for small things? Waking up at 2am wired? Exhausted but can't fall asleep? Angry at everything?

Your nervous system is screaming.

And here's what nobody tells you: Your nervous system is an electrical system. Every thought, every heartbeat, every “calm down” signal is a small electrical current moving along a nerve. And that current doesn’t run on breathwork. It runs on minerals.

Magnesium is your brake pedal. When it's low, you're wired-but-tired, racing thoughts, clenched jaw, 3am wake-ups. Stress burns through magnesium first, so the more burnt out you are, the less calm mineral you have left. That's the loop.

Sodium and potassium are your stress buffer. When they're depleted (which I see constantly in burned-out moms), even tiny stressors feel huge. There's no cushion left.

Copper running high? You're emotionally reactive, quick to anger, anxious. I've seen daily meltdowns settle just by bringing that ratio back into balance.

Here's what ties this all together: Progesterone is your other calming hormone. But when minerals are depleted and your nervous system is stuck in overdrive, your body stops making progesterone—it's too busy making cortisol just to survive. Low progesterone + depleted minerals = agitation, anger, emotional reactivity. You're not losing your mind. Your body is literally running out of the chemistry it needs to regulate.

Coffee, a granola bar, and breathing apps won't fix this. Protein, salt, and the right minerals do.

That's exactly why I use HTMA. It shows me which minerals are depleted and which are running too high. Then I can actually fix the electrical system instead of just managing the symptoms.

You can't relax your way out of a mineral pattern.

Message me. Let's test your minerals and get your nervous system back online.

Look at these results!!!!

This is one of my clients. Her HTMA retest just came back.

Look at these ratios. Her adrenals are functioning better. Her thyroid is responding. Her magnesium nearly doubled—that's the foundation everything else is built on. She's not even at optimal yet, but her body is shifting.

She's lost over 20 pounds. Not from restriction. Not from exhausting workouts. From actually supporting her body the way it needs.

This took several months. There was no quick fix. She had to rebuild. She had to make her body feel safe again. She had to do the work—the right food, the right minerals, the right support. Consistency was key. She followed the recommendations. She kept her movement and hydration spot on.

And her retest proves it's working.

Her body is making leaps and bounds in the right direction. More work ahead? Yes. But the momentum is real. The results are measurable.

This is what happens when you stop guessing and start supporting your actual physiology.

This is what happens when you address the root cause instead of chasing symptoms.

I don't have before-and-after photos. I have actual lab data showing her body is healing.

If you're tired of spinning your wheels, message me. Let's get your labs and actually prove you're changing.

The results speak for themselves.

Moms, Stop Grabbing That Caffeine (Your Body Is Screaming)

If you're reaching for coffee at 7am, Alani at 2pm, Dr Pepper or ice coffee at 4pm, and whatever caffeine fix you can get your hands on just to function—we need to talk.

You need stimulants just to get through the day.

Here's what's actually happening: Your body temperature is low (low mitochondria). You don't eat breakfast and you immediately slam caffeine.

You're telling your body to run on stress hormones instead of fuel.

Your thyroid tanks. Your cortisol dysregulates. Your blood sugar crashes. Your ferritin drops. Your hormones go haywire.

It's not one problem. It's a domino effect. One big system getting knocked down.

Caffeine amplifies stress signaling on an already depleted body. Your mitochondria shut down. Your thyroid says "forget it." Your hormones stop communicating.

Then you wonder why you're exhausted, anxious, cold, constipated and dependent on stimulants, struggling with your period, losing your libido.

The fix is simple: Stop forcing your body to run on stress.

Get sunlight. Move. Hydrate. Then eat real food—protein, fat, and yes, carbs.

Your body doesn't need more stimulation. It needs fuel. It needs to feel safe enough to actually produce energy.

Message me. Let's rebuild your foundation so you feel good without the caffeine crutch.
