📸 It takes a village!

Today we were happy to help our friend earn community service points for ACG Hospice, and we couldn’t resist grabbing a quick photo with some of our favorite partners along the way!

Pictured with us are members of our amazing therapy team, who work hard every day to help our residents stay strong, active, and independent. We are so thankful for the wonderful community partners who pour into The Summit and make such a difference in the lives of our residents.

👯‍♀️ Double the Doris, double the fun!

Around here, if someone says, “Have you seen Doris?” the first question is always, “Which one?” 😂

These two keep us smiling and prove that one Doris is wonderful, but two Dorises are even better! Whether they’re visiting, chatting, or keeping up with all the latest gossip, you can count on one walking around.

We may have a lot of residents, but there’s only one thing better than a Doris… another Doris! ❤️

🐾 Mama Cat Update! 🐾

Our kittens are growing up fast and are almost walking all over the place! They are as cute and sweet as can be, and our residents are loving every minute of watching them grow. ❤️

Mama Cat is becoming more friendly every day and is starting to enjoy all the extra attention she’s getting around here.

And for everyone who has been following along… we have a special surprise planned for the kittens’ names next week! Stay tuned—you won’t want to miss it! 🐱🎉

🌧️💪 Rain or shine, we’re getting stronger together!

Our friends from GYR Fitness came this morning, and a little weather won’t slow us down! We’re ready to stretch, move, laugh, and stay active no matter what Mother Nature has planned.

At The Summit, we believe every day is a good day to work on our health and have some fun while doing it. Let’s get moving! 🏃‍♀️☔❤️

🚴‍♀️✨ Age is just a number when you have determination like this!

Our sweet resident will be celebrating her 98th birthday this year, and she continues to amaze us every day. Today, she was hard at work during her therapy session, riding the exercise bike and showing us all what strength, perseverance, and a positive attitude can do.

She is proof that staying active and keeping a young spirit can take you far. We are so proud of her and honored to be a small part of her journey.

🌊🐚 We have to BRAG on our amazing in-house NURSE for a minute! 🐚🌊

While enjoying a well-deserved vacation in the Bahamas, she was still thinking about our residents back home. She brought each resident a special seashell and even shared beautiful photos she personally took during her trip.

It’s the little things that make a big difference, and this thoughtful gesture brought so many smiles!! We are so thankful for team members who go above and beyond to make our residents feel loved and remembered.

There’s just something special about an afternoon stroll with a friend. ❤️ Today our residents enjoyed walking around the building together, sharing stories, laughter, and sweet conversations along the way. These simple moments of friendship and fellowship are what make our community feel like home. 🚶‍♀️☀️👭

🎨🐰 We discovered a hidden talent today!

One of our sweet residents showed off her artistic side by freehand painting this adorable rabbit, and we were amazed by her creativity and skill. What started as a fun activity quickly turned into a beautiful work of art!

We love seeing our residents share their gifts and talents with us. It’s a wonderful reminder that creativity has no age limit, and there is always something new to learn about the amazing people who call The Summit home. ❤️

🎶🕺 We took a trip back to the 1950s today and had an absolute blast! From the music, trivia, games and dancing, our residents enjoyed every minute of our throwback party.

The highlight of the day? Our administrator surprised everyone with a hula hoop performance—spinning it around her neck like a pro! 😄 The smiles, cheers, and laughter filled the room and made for a truly memorable afternoon.

🎉👑 Our June Birthday Queens were enjoying some porch time today, sharing stories about their families and talking about how blessed they feel. 💕

There is something so special about listening to their conversations filled with gratitude, love, and treasured memories. These sweet ladies reminded us that family is one of life’s greatest gifts, and they are so thankful for every visit, phone call, and cherished moment.

Happy Birthday to our June queens! We hope your month is filled with as much love and joy as you bring to everyone around you. 🌸💖
