Let’s face it: our bodies go through a lot of changes in perimenopause and menopause.

As estrogen levels shift, so does our fat distribution and muscle mass. We often see changes on the scale or how our clothes fit.

Our energy levels and sleep patterns change. Our moods can fluctuate. Libido takes a nose dive.

Having to wait for more than 15 minutes for a doctors appointment can be a real drag. It’s hard to plan your day when you don’t know how long it’s going to take.

If you’re a busy parent, you can’t afford that kind of time.

I used to work in a busy, hospital-owned primary care office where they would double and triple book my schedule. I chronically ran late and it was not good for doctors or patients.

I finally had enough. After 25 years of doctoring, I knew I could deliver primary care in a better way. That’s when I opened my own direct primary care practice,

Now I run on-time, every day. My patients never wait more than a couple minutes. And it’s kind of sad in a way because our waiting room is super calm, serene, and inviting!

Hi everyone! For those of you who are new here, and looking for a primary care doctor who is accessible, compassionate, and actually has time to listen, let me introduce myself. 👋

My name is Dr. Jenny LaBonte, and I’m the founder of Inspire Family Medicine here in Auburn. I’m a board-certified family physician, and I started my practice because I wanted to create the kind of medical care I would want for my own family — personal, relationship-based care without the rushed, assembly-line feeling so many people experience in traditional healthcare.

I practice Direct Primary Care (DPC), which is similar to a concierge-style model, but designed to be simple and affordable for everyday families. Instead of billing insurance for office visits, patients pay a flat monthly membership fee that includes direct access to me, longer appointments, same- or next-day visits when possible, telehealth, texting, and a doctor who truly knows you and your story. ❤️

One of the things I love most about DPC is that it gives me the freedom to care for patients the way medicine was meant to be practiced — with time, attention, prevention, and partnership. I care for the whole family and especially enjoy helping busy moms navigate everything from everyday illnesses and chronic conditions to stress, burnout, hormones, weight management, and preventive wellness.

I’m also passionate about helping patients feel heard and supported during seasons of transition and overwhelm — because healthcare should feel human, not transactional.
