We were fortunate to have the cast of The Public Theatre and Maine State Music Theatre's co-produced Million Dollar Quartet visit today! A depiction of the night four iconic musicians came together (Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins), we were treated to an electric afternoon!

Tickets are still available, with shows running up to September 13th. With the peek we got this afternoon, you'll not want to miss it!

This past Wednesday, the Auburn Community Concert Band joined us at Schooner Estates! We listened to hits spanning multiple decades, all thanks to their wonderful performance.

We spent last Friday rocking out to Studio Two at the Sawyer Foundation! A Beatles tribute band, Studio Two provides a transportive experience by embodying and performing the band's iconic 60s era.

While we're never disappointed with the talent the Sawyer Foundation brings in, this event is special to us, as Schooner was the proud sponsor of this particular performance!

Because hobbies grow and flourish at any age, this summer we expanded our raised garden beds to meet the interests and needs of our residents.

All tended by residents, the beds have grown to bursting with blooms. As we head deeper into August, it's become difficult not to notice the riotous display of flowers!

Thanks to all at Royal River Retrievers for bringing several wiggly golden floofs for Schooner residents to hold, pet, and love! So much joy gets captured in these visits ❤

Couldn’t ask for better weather as we enjoy a gazebo performance by Seagrass!

Our friends at Poland Spring Resort host a wonderful Summer Concert series, Monday nights at 6:30, on the lawn across from the Inn. Schooner residents typically fill the bus to come out and enjoy the amazing view and great music!!

Last night, our favorite guitar picker dropped by! Denny Breau - Maine Guitar Slinger performed for us, providing toe-tapping melodies and demonstrations of his expert fingerwork.

Denny returns to Schooner to wrap up our Summer Concert Series on August 19th- don't miss it!
