There was music, there was bingo- it was Musical Bingo! This past Saturday, Residents had the opportunity to compete in this special event, hosted by our favorite emcee, Tyla Davis!

Much fun was had as we filled out our cards and guessed our way through the hits from the 50s and 60s (ever a gracious host, Tyla never left us hanging! Thank you!).

On Wednesday, we had our first summer BBQ of 2026! We threw a Hawaiian Luau, where residents got to soak up the sun, punch, and some inspired regional cuisine.

If the photos we captured give any indication, it seems like our first summer BBQ was a success!

This past Wednesday, we were joined by Northeast Bank for a friendly puzzle competition! Schooner residents and Northeast Bank team members worked together to assemble identical sets of a 300-piece puzzle. Answer: What is having too much fun?

Last night, Uplift L.A. organized a friendly game of Jeopardy! for Schooner residents to compete in. Participants answered questions in several different categories prepared by the young professionals group, culminating in a final wager question for a win.

Thanks again to Uplift LA for spending their evening with us here at Schooner Estates- we cannot wait to have you back for another round!
