Our first workshop is Regulation 101! on September 24th from 5:30-7pm. Cost is $35 per family for your first workshop.

Yesterday, I had the honor of speaking to second year speech grad students at Auburn University! I was able to talk about how to help kiddos get regulated during sessions so they can access language, communication, and engagement. I love sharing what I do and how we can all help kiddos 💬🧠🩵🫧🧸

Parent Academy is a space for parents and caregivers to come together, learn, ask questions, and leave with practical tools and strategies they can actually use at home.

🎓 Our first workshop:

🧠 Regulation 101: Understanding Your Child & Supporting Regulation

During this workshop, we’ll talk about understanding regulation, recognizing what your child may be communicating through their behavior, and practical strategies you can use to support your child through everyday challenges.

You’ll also receive resources and tools to take home and add to your very own Parent Academy Family Toolkit! 🧰🩵

Is after school hard for your kiddo? For some, they can hold it together all day long and then they seem to collapse when they get home. While each kid is different, we’ve put together a list of ideas with activities that can be regulating and calming! Try focusing 20-30 minutes after transitioning home on providing these inputs before doing homework or any other demands 🩵 let me know which activity your child prefers!

Hi parents & caregivers! Our Jellybean therapists have been discussing providing parent workshops... is this something you would be interested in? We realize that working with kiddos is just one layer in kids' development and we'd love to expand on that and work with parents and caregivers as well!

My question is-- what would you like us to discuss?! What would be beneficial for you??

Some ideas:
- Co-regulation and emotional development
- Feeding education workshop
- What speech sounds should I expect at this age?
- Is this a sensory issue?
- Screen time, attention, and play

Happy Jellybean birthday to our twins!! I was a little hesitant hiring two new OTs on the same day but I’m so thankful I did! These girls are so fun & they love your kiddos like their own! Happy Workiversary Heather & Alexia! 🥳🎉🎊

Thank you Downtown Opelika for having us at Touch A Truck today!!! We loved being able to provide a “sensory pit stop” and implement the Quiet Hour! 🎧🫧🌽 We had a blast seeing everyone today! 🚛🚑🚜🚓🚚🚒🚌🚁
