Join Us Today at 2 pm at 9th Street Brew for Dementia Uncovered!

Join Betz Nursing Home staff at 9th Street Brew Coffee House on Wednesday, September 9th, at 2 pm for our second informative dementia education session. This session will take a deeper look at dementia and help individuals, families, caregivers, and community members better understand what is happening inside the brain.

Location: 9th Street Brew Coffee House, 101 E 9th St, Auburn, IN 46706

During this presentation, we’ll explore what happens to the brain as dementia progresses and how these changes can impact memory, communication, behavior, emotions, movement, and everyday abilities. We’ll also take a closer look at the different types of dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease, vascular dementia, Lewy body dementia, frontotemporal dementia, and mixed dementia.

Enjoy complimentary coffee and beverages while you learn, participate, and connect with others in a welcoming and supportive environment.
