As we wrap up National Wellness Month, let’s remember that wellness doesn’t end when August does!

Taking care of yourself is an ongoing practice. Some days it may look like setting a boundary, getting extra rest, talking through what you’re feeling, spending time with people who support you, or simply giving yourself a little more grace.

You don’t have to do everything at once. Start small. Pay attention to what you need. And give yourself permission to prioritize your well-being, not just this month, but every month. 🤍

What is one thing you want to continue doing for your wellness as we head into September?

What is mindfulness practice or meditation?

As Jon Kant-Zinn says, mindfulness is about waking up in pursuit of an authentic life. It helps us with examining who we are and being present in a way that allows us to embrace the fullness of being HUMAN.

It is hard to maintain a connection with ourselves because of the fast paced, hustle culture we live in. If we all took some time to reconnect with our inner most being, how could it all be different?

Your mind and body are more connected than you may realize.

When we’re experiencing stress, anxiety, or emotional overwhelm, our bodies can feel it too. Headaches, muscle tension, fatigue, changes in sleep, and stomach discomfort are just a few ways stress can show up physically.

At the same time, taking care of our physical health - getting enough rest, moving our bodies, nourishing ourselves, and making time to recharge - can support our mental and emotional well-being.

This Wellness Month, remember that wellness is about the whole you. Small steps count. 💚

Sometimes a mental reset doesn’t require a big life change—it starts with one small choice.

Put the phone down. Take a walk. Protect your peace. Say no when you need to. Give yourself space to breathe and check in with how you’re really feeling.

You don’t have to fix everything today. Just take one small step toward feeling more like yourself.

Setting Healthy Boundaries: An Essential Part of Wellness

Healthy boundaries aren’t about pushing people away, they’re about protecting your peace, your time, and your well-being.

Setting boundaries can look like:
- Saying “no” without feeling guilty.
- Taking time to rest when you need it.
- Limiting relationships or situations that drain your energy.
- Communicating your needs with honesty and respect.

Remember, boundaries are not selfish — they’re a form of self-care. When we care for ourselves, we’re better able to show up for the people and responsibilities that matter most.

This National Wellness Month, challenge yourself to set one healthy boundary that supports your mental and emotional well-being. Small changes can make a big difference. 🤍
