Don’t let mosquitoes take over your summer 🦟❌

Drop a Mosquito Dunk in standing water and stop them before they start! Easy, effective, and safe for pets and wildlife because your backyard should be for relaxing, not swatting.

PTSD can affect anyone, and the effects aren’t always visible. Flashbacks, anxiety, trouble sleeping, feeling overwhelmed, or withdrawing from others are all struggles many people face in silence.

You do not have to carry it alone. Reaching out for help is one of the strongest things you can do, and support is always available. 💚

There is hope, there is help, and you are never alone.

West Nile Virus surveillance season is underway!🦟

Our Environmental Health team is actively setting mosquito traps throughout the Southeast District Health Department service area to monitor mosquito populations and test for West Nile Virus activity. This surveillance helps us identify potential risks early and provide timely information to help keep our communities safe.

Remember to protect yourself from mosquito bites by using insect repellent, wearing long sleeves and pants when possible, and eliminating standing water around your home.

You can also pick up FREE Mosquito dunks, Buggy bands and DEET wipes from our Auburn SEDHD location!
