Does your home have an Emergency Supply Kit?

An emergency supply kit is a collection of items that you have stored in your home, business, or car that could be used during an emergency. These items are chosen based on the hazards you might expect to encounter. For example, you might choose to keep a radio in your kit so you can get weather updates while sheltering for a tornado.

Some other examples of items that you could keep in your emergency supply kit are;
A flashlight, toilet paper, money, water, prescription pills medications, a sleeping bag, and pet food.

For a complete list of ideas, or more information about preparedness visit www.ready.gov/kit.

Stay informed, stay protected! West Nile Virus is still a concern.

As mosquito season approaches, remember to take precautions: wear insect repellent, remove standing water, and cover up exposed skin.

September is Su***de Prevention Month.

This month is a reminder that every life matters and that reaching out can make a difference. Check in with your friends, your family, your coworkers—and don't forget to check in with yourself, too.

A simple conversation, a kind message, or being willing to listen can mean more than you realize. If you or someone you know is struggling, help is available, and you don't have to face it alone.

Let's continue to break the stigma, spread compassion, and remind one another that hope is always worth holding onto.

What’s in your backpack?
Pencils? ✔️
Folders? ✔️
Water bottle? ✔️
Toothbrush? 🪥 Maybe not! 😉

But keeping up with brushing is just as important as getting ready for school! Brush for 2 minutes, twice a day with fluoride toothpaste to help keep those smiles healthy all school year long.
Back to school. Back to routines. Back to healthy smiles!
