I couldn’t be more proud of my medical assistant, Maria, who is celebrating the ribbon cutting for the new location of The Golden Girl
When she came to me at the end of 2024 with the idea of launching her own spray tanning business, I immediately felt it aligned beautifully with our mission in direct primary care. I’ve always loved the concept of providing healthier alternatives to UV exposure, whether from the sun or tanning beds, and Maria’s vision fit perfectly.
Maria, I am beyond proud of your hard work, your courage, and your commitment to building something of your own. This new chapter is so well deserved. 💛✨

✨ Please help us welcome Heather to our clinic! ✨

We’re so excited to have Heather joining our team as a student Nurse Practitioner as she works toward her Family Nurse Practitioner degree. She’ll be spending time in our clinic learning, growing, and caring for our patients alongside Hope, and we’re thrilled to be part of her journey.

From Heather:
“I am a registered nurse with 8.5 years of clinical experience, primarily in medical-surgical nursing, with additional experience in telemetry and orthopedics. I earned my Associate Degree in Nursing from Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) and my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Iowa. I am currently pursuing my Family Nurse Practitioner degree at Clarkson College.

I chose to further my education and become a Family Nurse Practitioner because I feel a strong calling to provide patient-centered, holistic care. I am committed to delivering comprehensive, evidence-based care to individuals and families across the lifespan.

I live in Scranton with my husband, Jake, and our two dogs. In my free time, I enjoy spending quality time with family and reading. During the winter months, we enjoy ice fishing, while in the summer I love biking, golfing, and kayaking.”
