I had the great pleasure to visit the dementia village one year ago while in the Netherlands. It was as amazing as it sounds to witness. This concept is one that values humanity like no other for our precious aging population! And now, proves to be a protective function in limiting a viral spread of this proportion killing too many institutionalized elderly in the U.S and elsewhere.

I am encouraging anyone and everyone to “heart” hug every single person in your home ... people that you are able to do so safely at this time.

HEART HUG: That means each of you come in for the hug to the Left side of the other... so that you are heart to heart.

Hug for 20 seconds. Do this in silence to honor the moment.

I want you to Fully embrace another human being. Be present and mindful of your hug. Be both giving AND Receiving.

Do it! Right now!
We all NEED touch.

Your brain will release “oxytocin”, a feel-good hormone in your brain, like a happy drug. It will make you both feel so good! I promise.

Now Pass this on to any and every human being you know!
