Mohs Monday ✨This patient required multiple stages of Mohs surgery to completely remove her skin cancer, resulting in a large scalp defect.

To restore both function and appearance, bilateral rotation flaps were used to carefully reposition nearby healthy tissue and close the area. The result? An excellent cosmetic outcome with no noticeable hair loss.

Mohs surgery is the gold standard for treating many skin cancers because it removes cancerous cells while preserving as much healthy tissue as possible. When reconstruction is needed, careful surgical planning can achieve outstanding results.
