🎥 Get to know Kristina Buck, DPT
Kristina joined the Forza team in March of this year after returning home to Maine following five years in Alaska. Since joining us, Kristina’s schedule quickly filled, and the feedback from her patients has been outstanding. We’ve been thrilled to see how quickly she has become such an important part of the Forza team.

A Hall-Dale High School graduate, Kristina earned her Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from the University of New England and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Husson University. She then completed a specialized Sports Physical Therapy Residency through Select Physical Therapy, further developing her expertise in sports rehabilitation and on-field athlete care.

Her experience includes working with athletes at the University of Maine, Husson University, and John Bapst Memorial High School, giving her a strong background in everything from acute sports injuries to advanced rehabilitation and return-to-sport.

For Kristina, joining Forza also meant coming home. She now has the opportunity to treat patients and athletes in the same Central Maine community where she grew up.

🎬 Check out the video to hear directly from Kristina about her background, her approach to physical therapy, and what brought her back to Maine.

Another success story! 💪🎉

Nicole came to us after back surgery looking to return to kayaking, cross country skiing, traveling, and exercising. Throughout the process, Cari helped her along with progressing her carefully with exercises while also utilizing her expertise in manual techniques and dry needling to help her therapy move along fluidly. We’re psyched to see where she’s at today. A story like this makes what we do worth it; It’s our mission.

Good luck with everything, Nicole!

From athlete to physical therapist — Cari Hopkins, PT, DPT brings that perspective to every patient she treats at Forza. 💪

Cari knows what it means to train, compete, recover, and get back to doing what you love. A former three-sport athlete at Cony High School, she continued her athletic involvement at the University of Maine and has coached basketball at multiple levels.

Today, she brings that background into her work as a physical therapist at Forza Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine, treating athletes and active individuals with an emphasis on restoring movement, strength, and function.

Cari is also certified in dry needling, giving her another treatment option that can be incorporated into an individualized rehabilitation program when appropriate.

At Forza, great physical therapy is about more than treating an injury. It’s about understanding where you want to get back to—and helping you get there.

🎥 Check out Cari in action at Forza.

🎉 Another Forza success story!

From day one, Kira gave 120% to her rehabilitation. Through countless hours of hard work, gallons of sweat, and unwavering dedication, she earned her Forza Post-Op ACL Badge with flying colors. 🏅

We're extremely proud of everything she's accomplished and can't wait to hear about her continued success on the court. Wishing you continued success, Kira! 🎾👟🏓

👉 Did you know? ACL injuries are among the most common sports-related knee injuries. At Forza, our therapists have collectively treated more than 1,000 ACL injuries, including both non-operative and post-surgical cases.

We stay at the forefront of rehabilitation by using the latest evidence-based techniques and have extensive experience with every major ACL reconstruction graft type—including Bone-Patellar Tendon-Bone (BTB), Quadriceps Tendon (QT), Hamstring (HS), and allografts (cadaver). Meet the Team: Welcome (Home) Kristina Buck, PT, DPT!

Although Kristina joined the Forza Physical Therapy team earlier this year, we wanted to officially introduce her to our community.

Kristina recently returned to Maine after spending five years in Alaska. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training from the University of New England and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Husson University before completing a specialized Sports Physical Therapy Residency through Select Physical Therapy.

During her residency, Kristina worked closely with athletes at the University of Maine, Husson University, and John Bapst Memorial High School, providing on-field coverage and advanced sports rehabilitation. Her passion for helping athletes recover and return to doing what they love continues to shape her approach to patient care.

A proud Hall-Dale High School graduate, Kristina is especially excited to be serving the community where she grew up.

When she's not in the clinic, Kristina enjoys spending time with her husband, Ben, their two young children, and their beagle, Bean.

We're fortunate to have Kristina's expertise, energy, and compassion as part of the Forza team. If you're recovering from an injury, preparing to return to sport, or simply looking to move better, we'd love for you to meet her!

This post is long overdue!

Cari Hopkins, PT, DPT joined the Forza team last fall and has grown to be a workhorse here at Forza. She graduated from the University of New England in 2025 and is a long-time local of the Augusta community. She's a proud Cony High School graduate and seems to know just about everyone around here. Cari recently certified in dry needling and is currently seeing a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions. I'm very honored to have her aboard.
