Faith and medicine aren't opposites.

Dr. Jocelyn is a woman of faith. She is also a physician who prescribes when medicine is indicated. Those two things have always lived together in how she practices.

So when a patient or a parent is weighing treatment against what they believe, she doesn't put her beliefs above theirs, and she doesn't ask anyone to set their faith aside to be treated here. She uses whatever resources help the person in front of her.
