🎡🎠 Recovery Is About Living, Too! 🍁

Today, our ENSO Recovery crew spent the day at the Fryeburg Fair, and what a wonderful day it was!

There was laughter, good food, great company, and plenty of memories made along the way.

Sometimes, we get so caught up in the hard work of recovery that we forget something equally important: Recovery isn't just about leaving something behind. It's about discovering everything life still has to offer.

It's about connection, community, trying new things, laughing until your stomach hurts, and learning that joy can be found in the simplest moments.

Today wasn't just a trip to the fair. It was another opportunity to build relationships, strengthen our recovery community, and remember that a meaningful life is built through experiences like these.

We're grateful for this incredible group of individuals and the opportunity to walk alongside them as they continue building lives worth celebrating.

Because recovery isn't just about surviving. It's about living. 💜

📣 Enso Recovery is growing, and we have openings for both clients and clinicians.

Our Augusta and Sanford locations are currently accepting new clients seeking Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) as part of their recovery journey.

We believe recovery looks different for everyone. Our goal is to meet people where they are, reduce barriers to care, and provide compassionate, individualized support without judgment.

🌿 We’re also growing our clinical teams!

Enso Recovery is currently hiring CADC and LADC clinicians for both our Augusta and Sanford locations.

If you’re a clinician who believes in person-centered, compassionate substance use treatment and wants to work with people doing meaningful recovery work, we’d love to hear from you.

Hi everyone, Elizabeth here. 😊

I’m the Program Director and a clinician at Enso Recovery, and this weekend I have the incredible honor of stepping into a very different kind of role.

I’ll be joining Mary Goggin on stage as the Artist Interlocutor for all three performances of her award-winning one-woman show, Runaway Princess—facilitating the conversation between Mary and the audience following each performance on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

And I have to tell you… I’m genuinely honored to have been asked.

So much of the work we do at ENSO is about what happens after survival. How do we make meaning from what we’ve lived through? How do we reclaim the pieces of ourselves that were lost along the way? And how do we create lives that are not simply free from the things that once held us captive, but lives that actually feel worth living?

Those questions don’t belong only in treatment rooms.

They belong in art. In storytelling. In community. In the uncomfortable conversations we’re brave enough to have with one another.

Mary’s story is raw, funny, painful, deeply human, and ultimately one of survival and transformation. I’m so excited to help hold the conversation that follows it, and incredibly proud that I get to represent ENSO and to be part of a weekend where recovery, art, storytelling, and community all get to share the same stage.
