Acupuncture, chiropractic care, and massage are different tools—not necessarily competing choices.
Depending on the person and condition, one approach may be most appropriate or multiple providers may work together. Massage commonly focuses on soft-tissue tension; chiropractic care often emphasizes joints and movement; acupuncture may be incorporated for pain, muscle tension, nerve-related symptoms, stress, and whole-person care.
The right starting point depends on a proper evaluation. Some injuries need imaging, medical treatment, or surgical consultation, and a responsible provider should refer when another specialty is a better fit.
