One of the most important things I’ve learned as a physician is that you do not have to know every answer immediately to be a good doctor. Today a patient asked me a question I didn’t know off the top of my head. So, I told her exactly that. Then I promised I’d look it up, review the evidence, and get back to her. Medicine is constantly evolving, and patients deserve honesty more than ego. I’ll always choose transparency, curiosity, and evidence-based care over pretending to know it all. 🤍

One of my favorite parts of being an OBGYN is seeing patients year after year and building that relationship. Annual exams aren’t just about Pap smears, breast exams, or checking in on your health (although those are so important!). They’re also a chance for me to catch up with you. 💜 It’s such an honor to be trusted with not only your health, but your stories—your victories, your challenges, and everything in between. Sometimes we laugh together. Sometimes we cry together. We look at baby pictures and share in your memories. I know coming to your GYN can feel scary or uncomfortable at first—but when you find the right one, it should feel like a relationship built on trust, compassion, and care. I truly hope each of you find that with your doctor. So here’s to all the annual visits that turn into lifelong connections. Thank you for letting me be part of your journey.
