The gentlemen continue to discover creative outlets. This exercise illustrates the benefits of attempting new experiences in sobriety while shaping their new found life/world. In this exercise, the gentlemen usually experience initial self-doubt, but after unveiling their creations, they perceive the beauty of the world they are/have tailored. Also, they now have another token to remember their time with us or to give to their loved ones.

Update and Reminder, Jacob's Ladder is hosting its 1st Annual Golf Scramble to raise funds which supports clients in their journey to a substance-free life. Food will be provided via Slim's Backyard BBQ. There will also be CASH PRIZES for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.

We would greatly appreciate your help in spreading the word as we look for both sponsorships and teams.

The gentlemen participated in a tie-dye activity, which was a new experience for some, and a walk down memory lane for others, recalling happy moments from their childhood. These shirts will be a reminder of their time with the Ladder. It will also remind them of the importance to remember that life happens around us and not directly to us. They also are taught the importance of nurturing our inner child.

The gentlemen participate in the Narcotics Anonymous convention in Ripley, WV, twice a year. This convention allows them to network with individuals from various locations who are in recovery. They also meet with fellow graduates of our program. The event features leadership, meetings, and activities that provide valuable lessons, inspiring hope and enjoyment, and showcasing how recovery leads to a fun and fulfilling life.
