✨🎨 Creativity was in full bloom at Lowry Hills Care Center! 🎨✨

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful Paint Class filled with laughter, colorful masterpieces, and plenty of artistic talent. Every brushstroke told a story, proving that creativity has no age limit.

Art is more than painting it’s a chance to connect, express ourselves, and create lasting memories together. We are so proud of our talented artists and grateful to everyone who made this special day possible!

Today at Lowry Hills, we gathered to honor a beautiful tradition our Celebration of Life.

Each life tells a unique story filled with love, laughter, family, friendships, and memories that deserve to be remembered. Our Celebration of Life is a heartfelt opportunity for residents, families, and team members to come together to reflect, share stories, and celebrate those who have touched our community in meaningful ways.

At Lowry Hills, we believe every life matters, every memory has value, and every person leaves a lasting legacy. While we grieve those we have lost, we also celebrate the joy they brought to our lives and the impact they made on everyone around them.

It is truly an honor to care for our residents not only throughout their journey with us, but also by remembering and celebrating the lives they lived.

🐐🌼 Groovy Goats Came to Lowry Hills! 🌼🐐

What a fantastic day at Lowry Hills Care Center! Our residents were all smiles as they spent time with some adorable visitors from Groovy Goats. 💚

From gentle cuddles and plenty of laughs to unforgettable photo opportunities, these furry friends brought so much joy, comfort, and connection to everyone they met. Animal visits are more than just fun—they help reduce stress, encourage social interaction, spark wonderful memories, and brighten the day for our residents.

Moments like these remind us that the simplest experiences often create the biggest smiles. ❤️

Joni’s Success Story ✨
Joni has truly been on a journey—one paved with hard work, consistency, and courage. Every day, she shows up ready to learn, ready to practice, and ready to keep moving forward with her physical and occupational therapists.
When Joni started, she required maximum assistance to get through transfers. Through steady effort and commitment, she advanced to supervision-level support—and now she’s at minimal assistance with her transfers, moving with more control and confidence each week.
Joni is also making big progress with mobility: 🚶‍♀️ She’s now walking short distances with her walker
🧍 She can stand for 1.5 minutes—an impressive step toward greater independence
And it doesn’t stop there—Joni is building independence in her daily life, too. She’s improved her ability to do upper body dressing, and she’s now participating actively in all facility activities she chooses. Her motivation is contagious.
What stands out most? Joni’s smile. She always greets everyone with warmth and positivity, and she’s consistent in doing what matters most—reporting to therapy to get her daily dose of practice and progress toward her goal of becoming independent again.
Joni, we’re so proud of you. Keep shining—you’re proving that perseverance truly pays off. 💛👏

🫧🦽 Wheelchair Wash Day at Lowry Hills! 🦽🫧

Who says cleaning can't be fun? Our residents had a wonderful time during Wheelchair Wash Day, helping make their rides shine while enjoying fresh air, laughter, music, and great company!

Keeping wheelchairs clean is important, but spending time together, staying active, and sharing smiles is what made the day truly special. It was another opportunity to create meaningful moments and celebrate the joy of community.

At Lowry Hills, we're always finding creative ways to make everyday activities engaging and fun!

🥕🌿 Fresh from the Garden at Lowry Hills! 🍅🥒

Our garden has been hard at work, and so have our amazing residents! We're excited to celebrate another beautiful harvest filled with fresh, homegrown vegetables.

From planting the seeds to watching them grow, gardening brings more than just delicious produce—it creates opportunities for movement, purpose, connection, and plenty of smiles along the way.

We're so proud of everyone who helped make this season's harvest a success. There's nothing quite like enjoying the fruits (and veggies!) of your labor!

Our Fourth of July celebration at Lowry Hills Care Center was filled with smiles, laughter, patriotic spirit, and time spent together. From festive decorations to great company, our residents and team enjoyed celebrating the freedoms we cherish and the community we call home.
