Our nursing home has a homelike atmosphere. 🎉 It's National Skilled Nursing Care Week, and we decided to show off our favorite sports attire! ⚽🏀⚾🏈 Thank you to Andrea and Barb for making food for the staff, along with Jack, Karla, and Jailene who helped serve all the staff. Garden Terrace wouldn't be the amazing team that it is without all the individuals that we have who fill in all the missing pieces. 💐 Each year, we set aside a special week to celebrate our amazing residents and associates and the role that skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities play in senior care.

We care for those who cannot care for themselves. We help rehab patients recover from illness or injury. And we do it all in a series of many moments... ☺️

From assisting a resident with getting dressed in the morning to providing meals, activities, medication administration, help with activities of daily living, and therapy as appropriate, our associates work together to create a full experience of care.

🇲🇽 Tomorrow is the day! Join us Saturday 5/9/26 from 2-4 p.m. in the North Courtyard for our traditional Mexican showcase!

🐴 We will have dancing horses as well as trick roping events happening! Food will be provided free for our residents, but open to the families and visitors for a price! 🌮 All of the money raised will be going directly to our activities team to better all of our experiences we are able to have for every resident at Garden Terrace.

Yesterday, we hosted a Celebration of Life for residents who have passed. 🕊️

This memorial service is so touching, and we thank all of the staff here at Garden Terrace as well as the families that come and visit with their loved one day in and day out. 💜 This disease process can really make visiting very difficult, but our loved ones will always remember you throughout all the love and memories that were created for many of those years!

Thank you to our activities team and Pastor, along with all other staff here at Garden Terrace, who never let us forget the loved ones that have passed. From the moment you step into the doors at Garden Terrace, you become a part of such a huge wonderful family. We love all of our residents just like they are our own! 🪻
