Please welcome our newest team members to CU Anschutz Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery!

We’re excited to welcome Phayvanh Pecha, MD, MPH, who joins pediatric otolaryngology at Children’s Hospital Colorado, Colorado Springs. A leader in cleft and craniofacial care and NIH K23 award recipient, Dr. Pecha will serve as Medical Director of the Cleft Team and is dedicated to expanding access to care.

We also welcome Jocelyn McKey, PA, who brings 10 years of experience in pediatric surgical care, supporting children with complex needs while delivering compassionate, high-quality care to patients and families.

We’re thrilled to have both of them on our team and look forward to the impact they will make across our department and community.

Our Department was well represented at the recent CHCO CCS Surgical Research Symposium this year. We had 22 submissions, 14 posters, and 2 oral presentations. Parker Juels, one of our pediatric medical students, won a top poster award for "Safety and Audiologic Outcomes for Active Transcutaneous Osseointegrated Hearing Devices." Dr. Sarah Gitomer was the Chair for this year's meeting, and Dr. Tendy Chiang was the keynote speaker.
