πŸŒ… Happy Weekend, Everyone! πŸŒ…

Take the time to do what you love this weekend β€” rest, laugh, hold your family close, and most of all, let go and let God.

So many of us carry burdens that were never ours to carry alone. We worry, we strive, we hold on tight β€” when God is saying, "Trust Me. I've got this." This weekend, make the decision to release whatever has been weighing on your heart and lay it at His feet. He is faithful. He has never failed you, and He won't start now.

"Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you." β€” 1 Peter 5:7

Let this weekend be a Sabbath for your soul. Step away from the noise. Take a walk. Say a prayer. Call someone you love. And let God do what only He can do β€” restore, renew, and refresh you for the week ahead.

You are blessed. You are loved. And God is still working on your behalf. AMEN! πŸ™β€οΈ

From our family to yours β€” Happy Weekend!

πŸ™ A WEEKEND THOUGHT FROM BROTHER TAYLOR πŸ™

If your head says one thing and your heart says another β€” which one do you follow?

Think about young David. A shepherd boy facing Goliath β€” a giant over nine feet tall. His head had every reason to run.

But his heart said: "The Lord who delivered me from the lion and the bear will deliver me from this Philistine." (1 Samuel 17:37)

One stone. One sling. One boy full of faith. And the giant fell.

We know that story personally.

Sister Lequita faced the giant of cancer. We started this business with only $150 and a prayer. Our heads said we were done β€” doomed. The giant looked too big and the odds too impossible.

But our hearts said: "Fear not, for God is with us."

And look what God has done today. Over 23 years of fighting cancer and winning. Over 23 years serving Denver families with dignity, love, and excellence. Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services β€” still standing, still faithful, still giving God the glory.

Proverbs 4:23 β€” "Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life."

Proverbs 23:7 β€” "For as he thinks in his heart, so is he."

What giant are you facing this weekend? Your head may have a thousand reasons it can't work. But what is your heart saying?

Guard your heart. Water it with the Word. Pick up your stone. God has never lost a battle. ❀️

With faith and love,
Brother Michael & Sister Lequita Taylor

πŸ™β€οΈ 20 YEARS OF FAITHFUL SERVICE β€” WE ARE SO PROUD!

To our beloved community and all who have loved and supported our family, we want to take a moment to honor someone very special to our hearts β€” our son, Michael Deshawn, aka Mike D.

And if we are being honest, his love for this work started long before 2006. As a young boy β€” just 9, 10, 11 years old β€” Michael Deshawn was already by his mother's side, serving families at Pickett Mortuary. That little boy watched, learned, and felt the call on his life even then. God had already planted the seed.

Twenty years ago, he stepped fully into his own chapter β€” with purpose, compassion, and a commitment to serving families during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. Today, we celebrate TWO DECADES of that faithful service β€” 2006 to 2026!

Sister Lequita and I have watched Michael Deshawn grow into not just a skilled and dedicated funeral professional, but a man of integrity, professionalism, and deep compassion. He has touched countless families here in Denver and beyond, and we could not be more grateful to God for the anointing He has placed on his life.

The Word says in Proverbs 22:29, "Do you see someone skilled in their work? They will serve before kings." That is our son, Michael Deshawn. Skilled. Faithful. God-ordained.

We are asking everyone who loves Mike D, who has been touched by his service, or who just wants to come celebrate with two proud parents β€” please join us!

EVERYONE IS WELCOME! Come help us honor a man who has given 20 years β€” and truly a lifetime β€” to serving families with excellence and grace. We love you, Michael Deshawn β€” to God be the glory! AMEN.

With faith and love,
Brother Michael & Sister Lequita Taylor
