🌙 Good evening, family, and Happy Friday!

You made it through another week. Maybe it was heavy. Maybe it was full of blessings. Either way, God carried you, and tonight we want to pause and thank Him together.

"The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace." (Numbers 6:24-26)

Let's pray together. 🙏

Father God, we thank You for this day and for bringing us to the end of this week. Thank You for every door You opened and every door You closed. Thank You for the battles You fought for us that we never even knew about.

Lord, we lift up everyone reading this tonight. Where there is tired, give rest. Where there is worry, give peace. Where there is grief, wrap Your loving arms around them. Where there is an empty chair at the table, be the comfort that only You can be.

Bless our homes this weekend. Bless our marriages, our children, our church families, and our friendships. Protect everyone traveling. Heal the sick. Strengthen the weary. And let us wake up tomorrow with fresh mercy and renewed hope.

No weapon formed against us shall prosper, and we trust You with everything. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen. ❤️

With heavy hearts and hands lifted in prayer, we share the passing of Mr. Charles Levert Manning, Sr., who lived 94 years and has now been called home. What a legacy of years, of love, and of faith.

To the Manning family: we are honored that you have trusted us with the care of your loved one. Please know that Mr. Manning will remain in our care with the dignity, respect, and compassion he deserves.

🙏 A WEEKEND THOUGHT FROM BROTHER TAYLOR 🙏

If your head says one thing and your heart says another — which one do you follow?

Think about young David. A shepherd boy facing Goliath — a giant over nine feet tall. His head had every reason to run.

But his heart said: "The Lord who delivered me from the lion and the bear will deliver me from this Philistine." (1 Samuel 17:37)

One stone. One sling. One boy full of faith. And the giant fell.

We know that story personally.

Sister Lequita faced the giant of cancer. We started this business with only $150 and a prayer. Our heads said we were done — doomed. The giant looked too big and the odds too impossible.

But our hearts said: "Fear not, for God is with us."

🌅 Good Evening, Beloved Family!

As the day settles into quiet, hold on to this promise from the Lord:

"No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD." — Isaiah 54:17

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father,

We come to You tonight with thankful hearts. Thank You for carrying us through this day by Your grace and mercy.

Lord, for every family who is grieving tonight, draw near. Let them feel Your presence in the stillness of this evening. Wrap them in Your peace, the peace that passes all understanding.

For everyone facing a battle, a worry, or a fear, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. We release every burden into Your hands, and we trust You with tomorrow.

Bring rest to weary bodies and comfort to hurting hearts. Cover our homes, our children, and our loved ones through the night. Let us wake up renewed in Your strength and Your joy.

Today our hearts are with the family and friends of Frances Burden, who went home to be with the Lord on October 2, 2026. We are honored that Taylor Mortuary and Cremation Services has been entrusted to care for her and her loved ones.

The Word of God reminds us in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit." And in 2 Corinthians 5:8, we are assured that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.

Heavenly Father, we lift up the Burden family. Wrap them in Your peace that passes understanding. It is with deep love and heartfelt sorrow that the Taylor Mortuary and Cremation Services family announces the passing of our beloved Mr. Willie Tennessee, who was called home to glory on September 30, 2026. Born on June 6, 1944, Mr. Tennessee lived 82 beautiful years — a life full of purpose, love, and the grace of God.

Though our hearts grieve, we hold fast to the promise of God's Word — that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. 🙏

To the Tennessee family — we hold you in our prayers. May the God of all comfort wrap His arms around you during this tender season. Weep not as those without hope, for we serve a risen Savior who holds our loved ones in His hands.

We are honored to share with our community the passing of our beloved sister, Arline Stevenson. Her smile was a gift, her spirit a blessing, and her presence a light to all who knew her.

To her family and loved ones — you are not alone in your grief. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and He saves those who are crushed in spirit. (Psalm 34:18)

Arline's life was a testament to God's faithfulness, and we trust that she is now resting in the arms of our Savior, where there is no more sorrow, no more pain — only eternal peace and joy.

It is with hearts both heavy and grateful that we announce the peaceful homegoing of Deacon Earnest Cal Reese Sr., who departed this life on September 19, 2026, at the blessed age of 94 years.

Deacon Reese was a faithful servant of God — a man of purpose, integrity, and unwavering devotion to his Lord. For 94 years, he walked this earth leaving a lasting mark on every soul he encountered. His legacy will endure in the hearts of all who loved him.

To his beloved family — we grieve with you, stand with you, and lift you in prayer. "But we do not grieve as those who have no hope." (1 Thessalonians 4:13)
