Serving more than 4,000 families in the Fox Valley area each year, FCS provides youth mentoring services as well as behavioral healthcare for all ages. Do you ever feel like something is just... off? Not dramatically wrong, but not quite right either.

That quiet feeling is worth paying attention to. Therapy isn't only for people in crisis. It's for anyone who wants more support, more clarity, or simply a space to work through what life is throwing at them.

We shared 5 signs it might be time to reach out. Read it at the link below.

What a month it has been! πŸ’š May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and we could not be more grateful for the community that showed up for us this May.

Earlier this month, we hosted First Friday at our Aurora office for a fun, low-key evening of mental wellness activities. Peep some great coping skills our visitors shared in the pics! 🌟

Thank you to everyone who joined us and to Aurora Downtown District for making downtown Aurora such a wonderful place to spend a Friday evening!

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and we kicked it off the right way earlier this month! 🌱

On May 1st, we were so proud to be part of the Mental Health Awareness Fest at West Aurora High School . Sharing this space with students and the wider Aurora community was a reminder of just how important it is to start these conversations early.

We're still reminiscing on what a wonderful day it was. πŸ’™ Thank you to everyone who showed up and made this such a meaningful event.

Myth: Psychiatric medication changes your personality. Fact: It doesn't.

It helps reduce symptoms so you can feel more like yourself. That's just one of the common myths we address in our blog on psychiatry. If fear or misinformation has been holding you or someone you know back from seeking help, this is worth a read.

Back at The Greenhouse 🌱

We're returning for another season of volunteering with the Fox Valley Park District at The Greenhouse in Abraham Lincoln Park!

Our team is back on select Wednesdays through September, picking up where we left off last year. Planting, weeding, watering, and everything in between. It's good work, good company, and a great way to contribute to a space that the whole Aurora community enjoys.

This Mother's Day, we're holding space for all the feelings.

For the moms who are thriving. For the ones who are struggling quietly. For those navigating grief, exhaustion, postpartum challenges, or simply the invisible weight of doing so much for everyone else.

You deserve care too, not just on this day, but every day.

If you or a mom in your life could use some support, we're here. Reach out at https://buff.ly/BCj3huR
