Thank you to the staff, parents, families, friends, and community members who came out this morning to send off the FVSRA Stars as they departed for Summer Games.

Over the next three days, FVSRA athletes will compete in swimming, track & field, co****le, and powerlifting while representing our community with pride.

🌟 A sendoff worthy of champions! This morning, the FVSRA Stars hit the road to Illinois State University for the 2026 Summer State Games.

A huge thank you to the Aurora Fire Department, Aurora Police Department, and Kane County Sheriff's Office for providing an incredible es**rt and helping send our athletes off in style!

Over the next three days, the FVSRA Stars will represent our community with pride as they compete at Summer State Games.

⛳️ This past Sunday, Caregiver Network families gathered for Mini Golf Morning at Stone Creek Miniature Golf Course in Geneva. Participants enjoyed a fun-filled morning of putting, laughing, and connecting with one another. Thank you to everyone who joined us for this hole-in-one event!

Our next Caregiver Network event is Caregiver at the Cove on Sunday, August 16th from 3:30–6:30pm at Otter Cove Aquatic Park. Take a break and make a splash with an evening of swimming, floating, and connecting with other caregivers in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. 🌊Learn more and RSVP at fvsra.org/caregiver-network

Daybreak recently attended a Joliet Slammers game alongside our friends from Awesome Life Academy, and it was a day to remember! Between the ballpark snacks, sunny skies, and cheering from the stands, the day was packed with fun. ☀️ Thank you Awesome Life Academy for making these memories with us!

🌟 Maple Park Supports Special Olympics Athletes invites you to the Annual Wheel of Meat Fundraiser. This event is a long-standing community tradition that brings people together for a great cause: supporting athletes with disabilities through Fox Valley Special Recreation Association (FVSRA).

Guests will enjoy 12 general raffles, 2 grand raffles, cash prizes, and the chance to win meat packages, liquor and wine baskets, sports jerseys, gift cards, and more. Proceeds help fund athletic opportunities and specialized programming at FVSRA, directly supporting the success of local Special Olympics athletes.
