The University of Colorado Denver Hemophilia and Thrombosis Center (HTC), located at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Center in Aurora, Colorado, is the region’s leader for the treatment of patients with bleeding and clotting disorders stroke. Servi

ng patients in the Rocky Mountain region, including Colorado, Wyoming and Montana, the HTC is a dedicated team of physicians, nurses, pharmacists, physical therapists, social workers and researchers who are committed to providing comprehensive care for patients with bleeding and clotting disorders. The HTC was founded in 1973 to provide a permanent research and treatment facility for patients with bleeding and clotting disorders. The HTC has provided clinics for hemophilia, bleeding and clotting disorder patients from a variety of locations throughout the University of Colorado campus. The center moved to a permanent location in April 2011 in the University Physician’s Building just north of the main Anschutz Medical Campus to accommodate the needs of patients.
