A manifesto.

Just to get this out of the way.

I’m seeing a lot of people talking about
“conscious relationship”
“doing the work”
“healed masculine”
“divine feminine”
“secure attachment.”

But your vocabulary isn’t fooling anyone who’s paying attention.

Because you can know every attachment style
and still abandon yourself the moment someone might leave.

You can talk about boundaries
and still say yes when your whole body is saying no.

You can call yourself emotionally available
and still use vulnerability to get reassurance, validation, attention, or intimacy.

You can preach sovereignty
and still confuse jealousy with love.

You can talk about polarity
while using masculine and feminine language to justify control, avoidance, or sh*tty communication.

You can sit in ceremony, breathe, shake, cry, journal, meditate—

and still choose partners based on chemistry
instead of character.

Still sleep with people you already know you don’t want a relationship with.

Still stay because you’re afraid of being alone.

Still leave the moment intimacy asks something difficult of you.

Still punish people with silence instead of telling the truth.

Still mistake having “no boundaries” for having an open heart.

Still mistake being agreeable for being kind.

Still mistake intensity for intimacy.

Still mistake being needed for being loved.

Still expect your partner to regulate emotions you refuse to learn how to hold yourself.

And maybe the biggest one:

You can become incredibly skilled at talking about your wounds
without actually changing the behavior those wounds create.

That’s the nuance of relationship work.

The goal isn’t to become harmless.

It isn’t to become dominant.

It isn’t to become so independent that you never need anybody.

And it isn’t to find someone who never triggers you.

It’s learning how to remain yourself while loving another person.

To have boundaries without building walls.

To be vulnerable without abandoning discernment.

To receive criticism without collapsing.

To disagree without withdrawing love.

To desire someone without possessing them.

To apologize without losing your dignity.

To walk away when something isn’t aligned—even when the chemistry is incredible.

To stay when something is difficult—but healthy.

To tell the truth before resentment has to tell it for you.

That’s the work.

Not masculine versus feminine.

Not men versus women.

Two humans learning how to become whole enough that love doesn’t require either of them to disappear.

If any of this hits a nerve, good.

The question isn’t whether you can identify the pattern in your ex.

The question is:
