06/03/2026
2026 is a year of transition – individually (always), collectively (intensely), across the board, no way around it. While the major transitions of planets have occurred, landing in realms they will remain in for some time, the waters are still rushing, and the winds continue shifting the sands, making stability a challenge to access.
This is also reflective of the phase of season we share. In late Spring, we experience weather and environments that are seemingly inconsistent. Sometimes it’s chilly, and – more frequently – it’s hot. As the days become longer and light dominates the sky, the impetus for action and expansion increase. However, finding balance require moments of rest and reflection. Only with this stepping back can we gain full perspective in the present moment, recall our intentions, and move forward with full attention and alignment.
Remaining centered amid so much change is part of our practice, both with yoga and in the study of the stars. Each are intended to offer moments of contemplation. With yoga – especially yin – we bring awareness and energy to the connective tissue of the body, and with that sink into the energetic and emotional levels of the self. In studying astrology, we get to recognize patterns and connections in the movement of the stars as they relate to our individual lives and the collective movement through time. Again, it’s all connected, and in our time together we’ll explore the way the two relate to each other.
