Breathing is something we don’t often think about — but it plays a big role in how the body functions.
Nasal breathing helps support better oxygen flow, more stable sleep, and coordination of the muscles used for speech and swallowing. When breathing patterns shift, other systems can start working harder to compensate.
This can show up in ways that aren’t always obvious at first, like mouth breathing, fatigue, or changes in how communication feels.
Sometimes small patterns give us helpful information about the bigger picture.
If you’re noticing changes in breathing, sleep, or communication for you or your child, reach out to schedule a consultation. We’re happy to help you understand what might be going on and what support could look like.
