Last week our team had the opportunity to attend a beautiful cacao meditation and sound healing experience hosted by Casa Meditación for Corazones que Cuidan.

As mental health professionals, we spend so much of our time holding space for others. This experience reminded us that caring for ourselves is just as important. Not only did we practice self-care, but we were also cared in community.

We are grateful for spaces like these that allow us to slow down, reconnect, and refill our cups. When we take the time to nurture ourselves, we can return with more presence, compassion, and energy for the clients and families we serve.

Thank you, Casa Meditación, for caring for us and creating such a beautiful experience and for reminding us that healing happens best in community. 🤍✨

Be gentle with yourself during this gloomy weather.

Cloudy skies can make everything feel a little heavier. Your energy may be lower, your motivation may be harder to find, and even simple tasks can feel more difficult than usual.

If today feels slower, give yourself permission to slow down.

Take the nap.
Drink the warm coffee.
Wrap yourself in a blanket.
Go for a short walk if you can.
Rest without guilt.

Not every day is meant for pushing harder. Some days are meant for listening to what your mind and body need.

The sun will come back out and so will you. ☁️🤍

Today, we ran our first marathon in honor of those we’ve lost and in support of those who are still fighting.

The Signal Run is a powerful reminder that no one has to face their struggles alone. Every step carried a name, a memory, a story, and a reason to keep going. We didn’t run for medals or finish times, but to raise awareness, inspire hope, and stand together as a community.

To those who are grieving, struggling, healing, or simply trying to make it through another day, know you are not alone. We see you, we support you, and we can move forward together. 💙

The Right Time to Start Therapy Is Now.

You don’t need to wait for things to get worse.
You don’t need to be in crisis.
You don’t need to have all the answers.
You don’t need a “good enough” reason.

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, disconnected, or simply curious about understanding yourself better, that’s enough.

Many spend months sometimes even years thinking:
“Maybe I should wait.”
“Maybe it’s not that bad.”
“Maybe I can handle it on my own.”

The truth is that healing often begins the moment you stop overthinking and take the first step.

Therapy isn’t just for overcoming difficult times. It’s also for growing, learning, building healthier relationships, and creating the life you want.

The right time to start therapy isn’t when everything falls apart.
The right time is when YOU decide you deserve support.

And that time can be now. 💙

We had a busy morning spreading mental health awareness and showcasing how LENS Neurofeedback supports nervous system regulation and overall wellbeing.

From Peru to Austin, our clinicians remain deeply committed to continuous learning and professional growth. This past weekend, several of our providers completed different levels of the LENS Neurofeedback training, further expanding their ability to support clients through innovative, mind–body approaches.

We are incredibly proud of their dedication to mastering effective, evidence-informed techniques that enhance healing, regulation, and overall well-being. Their commitment reflects our mission to provide the highest quality care to the communities we serve.

A heartfelt thank you to the for hosting another exceptional training and for continuing to invest in the growth of South Texas providers.

Had an incredible time learning about the UTRGV Counseling Program and the meaningful impact it’s creating in our community. Excited about the opportunities it brings to expand access to care, support future clinicians, and strengthen mental health services where they’re needed most! ’sup
