✨ Meet Monserrat (MJ), Community Outreach Coordinator at Ally Medical ER South Austin ✨
Our Community Outreach Coordinators help build meaningful relationships with local businesses, schools, and organizations while connecting the community with trusted emergency care. Through education, partnerships, and community events, they help ensure Ally Medical ER is a resource both inside and outside the ER.
For MJ, one of the best parts about serving South Austin is the people.
“I love how welcoming and supportive the Austin community is. There’s always an opportunity to connect with others, whether it’s through local events, small businesses, or organizations that truly care about making a difference.”
Outside of work, MJ enjoys spending time with family and friends, paddle boarding, hiking, exploring new places, discovering local coffee shops and restaurants, and taking advantage of everything Austin has to offer outdoors.
She describes herself as compassionate, adventurous, and dependable.
“I’m passionate about helping others, I love exploring new places and experiences, and I always strive to be someone people can count on, whether it’s at work or in my personal life.”
Although she didn't grow up in Austin, it has become home. Originally from Asunción, Paraguay, MJ also spent time living in California before settling in Central Texas.
“I fell in love with Austin because of its beautiful outdoor spaces, the lakes, the active lifestyle, and the genuine sense of community. One of my favorite memories is paddle boarding on Lady Bird Lake with friends and family.”
The people she serves are what make her role so rewarding.
“Every interaction is an opportunity to make someone’s day a little easier. Building relationships, supporting local organizations, and helping people when they need it most is incredibly rewarding.”
Her favorite part about working at Ally Medical ER is representing an organization that truly puts patients first.
“I enjoy educating people about our services, connecting with local organizations, and knowing we’re making a positive impact both inside and outside the ER.”
Show some love for MJ in the comments!❤️
