We are hands on and we specialize in joint and soft tissue mobilization, dry needling and myofascial release to create motion in segments that are not moving well. We then train the muscles to help maintain and stabilize the movement created. We also specialize in Pelvic Floor Health, both Men's and Women's. Our therapists look at how the entire body moves as one to better understand no only what

is painful or dysfunctional but also why you got there in the first place. We don't just put a band aide on the problem, we address the cause of it. Pro Motion Physical Therapy prides itself on treating all patients one on one without the use of techs or aides. There is never double booking, each appointment is on a 40 min scheduling block so you will never have a therapist juggling 2-3 patients at one time.

While this list is not encompassing regarding all of the conditions where the use of dry needles is beneficial, it's a great place to start. The two most prevalent reasons we use the technique at Pro Motion is to reduce pain and to accelerate the healing process. Clients will likely receive dry needling in addition to manual therapy and a specific stretching and strengthening program, but can include several other treatments, as well.

Shoulder dysfunction can be painful, as well as limiting. When establishing a plan of care for a client, it's common practice at Pro Motion to add dry needling to the treatment program. Doing so can provide the benefits listed, as well as accelerate the healing process, thus cutting down on your time in therapy.
