We were so lucky to hear him share his talent on the piano and brighten our day with a little unexpected joy. Our community is always full of wonderful surprises, and we’re grateful for moments like these! 🎶

💜 Purple Fridays are here! 💜

Throughout the month of September, we’re rocking our purple every Friday to represent, honor, and show our love and support for those living with Alzheimer’s and the families who walk alongside them. 💜

September is National Alzheimer’s Awareness Month—a time to spread awareness, encourage understanding, celebrate every individual, and remind our community that no one has to walk this journey alone.

So, let’s wear purple, spread the word, and spread the love! 💜✨ Together, we can shine a light on Alzheimer’s and continue creating a community filled with compassion, connection, and support.

Our very own Letha had the wonderful privilege of visiting some of our sister communities during her California trip—and even got the opportunity to meet our very own Loren Shook! 💙

Silverado recently hosted their National Director of Resident Engagement Conference, bringing together incredible leaders from across the Silverado community—and Texas definitely made their mark! 🤠❤️

A huge congratulations to Tammie from Southlake and Dior from Hermann Park for taking home awards that are more than well deserved! 🎉👏 Your passion, creativity, and dedication to our residents shine every day, and we couldn’t be prouder!

Not only did the Texas DREs understand the assignment—they also got to celebrate a HUGE milestone with Loren and Wayne: 30 YEARS of Silverado! 🎉🥂❤️

What a conference to remember! Celebrating incredible people, well-deserved accomplishments, and 30 years of making a difference in the lives of those we serve. Here’s to many more! 🥳🏆✨

Happy National Dog Day! 🐶🐾❤️

We absolutely love all the sweet pups who are part of our community, as well as those who come by for a visit! Their wagging tails, happy faces, and unconditional love bring so much joy to our residents and associates. 🥰

For individuals living with dementia, spending time with dogs can provide comfort, companionship, and meaningful connection. Pet interactions can encourage conversation, bring back familiar memories, reduce feelings of loneliness, and create moments of joy and calm. ❤️🐕

We’re so grateful for all the furry friends who fill our community with love, laughter, and plenty of tail wags! 🐾💕

We absolutely love a special dad & daughter outing! 💕👨‍👧 There’s nothing sweeter than spending quality time together, making memories, and enjoying the simple moments. This adventure took them to our local Cabela’s to find a brand-new hat! 🤠❤️ These moments of connection, love, and togetherness are truly priceless. 🥰

Making new friends—and building lifelong friendships—has no age limit. As associates, we get the joy of watching these special connections grow every day. From shared laughs and conversations to simply enjoying each other’s company, these friendships bring so much meaning and joy to everyday life. 🥰

For those living with dementia, meaningful friendships and social connections are especially important. They provide companionship, a sense of belonging, and opportunities to feel connected and valued. 💕👫

🧪🔬 STEM has become a hit in our community! We’re having fun with simple science activities while learning that success is all about teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving. 💡

Our residents work together to create the best plan, test their ideas, and see what happens. And when things don’t go as planned, we talk about what went wrong, what we can change, and how we can make our next attempt even more successful!

It’s all about learning, experimenting, and having fun along the way! 🧠✨🤝
