Dennis has been vegan for 30 years and shared that finding meals without dairy or animal products has often been a challenge, especially during hospital stays.

Since coming to Barton Valley, he has been deeply touched by the effort our team has made to understand and accommodate his dietary needs. Dennis shared that he feels cared for, comfortable, and most importantly, that Barton Valley feels like home.

Today we loaded up the van and headed to Luling, TX for some BBQ at City Market! 🍖🔥

But the fun didn’t stop at the BBQ! We also checked out a local farmers market, did a little browsing, enjoyed the beautiful day, and soaked up all the small-town charm Luling had to offer. 🛍️🌻

And we have to give a BIG shout-out to our Administrator, Kelsey, who decided to ditch the office for the day and hop right in the van with our residents — BOTH ways! 😂🚐❤️ Now THAT is dedication! We’re pretty sure she earned an honorary resident status by the end of the trip! 😆

A heartfelt THANK YOU to Jessica, Norma, Chartese and Joe. You all helped turn an ordinary outing into a day our residents will remember. ❤️
