Austin's Communication Station is a privately owned clinic that provides speech and occupational therapy for children in a family friendly environment. In addition to traditional speech therapy methods focusing on one-on-one therapy, Austin's Communication Station also offers a variety of intervention techniques to best serve the needs of each individual child. These techniques may include small g

roup therapy facilitated by our experienced Speech-Language Pathologists in order to promote positive communication opportunities with peers. Additionally, school readiness skills such as joint attention and behavior are targeted through language environments. As an integral piece of the child’s therapy process, we also provide parent training opportunities, school visits, and “parent talk time,” every session with home program designed to support the generalization of new skills across environments. We specialize in children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders and Social groups.

After watching his autistic son Zachary Duncan get bullied online, Stuart Duncan decided to create a safer alternative instead of accepting the reality of toxic gaming spaces. He built a private Minecraft server called Autcraft, designed specifically to support autistic children in a calm and respectful environment.

The server is heavily moderated, focused on kindness, and structured to reduce stress and conflict. What began as a small personal solution has grown into a global community of more than 17,000 autistic children who finally have a place where they feel safe and understood.

PLEASE VOTE!! It’s the time of year for the ACS Gingerbread House contest! This year the team was given random objects to include in their houses (plastic fork, brown and white coffee filters, Qtip, cotton ball, puzzle piece). They did a great job including all of them creatively!
