During 2023, I became officially certified in the Therapeutic Assessment (adult model). I am excited to share here a video where Steve Finn, creator of the model, describes a case where he used Therapeutic Assessment. As a therapist working with black clients, I have been mourning this tragedy and the trauma that it provokes in my clients. As a white person, this tragedy terribly shows the extent of my white privilege and the systemic oppression of the society we live in in the US.

As a black man living in Georgia, I am all too aware of the state’s history of lynching.
