Friendly reminder…why chewing food thoroughly matters: 

🦷 Improved Digestion: Chewing breaks down food into smaller pieces, which are easier for the stomach to digest. Saliva also contains enzymes that start the digestive process in the mouth.
🥗 Enhanced Nutrient Absorption: Smaller food particles mean a larger surface area, allowing the body to absorb more nutrients, vitamins, and minerals.
🛑 Mindful Eating: Slowing down to chew can help with recognizing the body’s fullness signals, which can prevent overeating.
