"Stress" isn't a diagnosis. It's a word we use when we don't know what's actually happening in the body.

Here's what's really going on when you're stuck in it: cortisol climbs, blood sugar swings, sleep falls apart, and you age faster than you should. That's not vague. That's physiology.

The fix isn't "relax more." It's getting quiet enough (meditation, a walk outside, whatever works) to stop spiraling on the problem and start seeing solutions. Einstein had it right: you can't solve a problem with the same mindset that created it.

If you're white-knuckling through "stress" without knowing what it's actually doing to you, that's exactly the kind of thing we dig into at TigerLily, South Austin. Drop a comment if this hit home, or send it to someone who needs to hear it.

That slow, sluggish feeling after a big dessert isn't guilt you need to carry, it's just your body asking for help processing the glucose. So skip the regret and try this instead: a few bodyweight squats right after.

Here's the "why": your glutes, hamstrings, and quads are some of the biggest muscles in your body. When you engage them, they pull glucose out of your bloodstream and put it to work, which means a better insulin response and less of that sugar crash feeling.

No gym required. No special equipment. Just stand up, squat (keep those hips above knee level), and repeat for as long as feels comfortable.

Enjoy your food. Eat with your whole heart. Then let your body do what it's built to do.

Try it after your next high-carb meal and tell me how you feel. I have a feeling you'll be surprised. 👇

Ever wondered what muscle testing actually looks like? 👀

This is applied kinesiology in action, one of the tools we use to help the body "tell us" what's going on beneath the surface. As pressure is applied, changes in muscle response can point us toward areas worth exploring further, whether that's a gut imbalance, past infection, or something else your body's been holding onto.

It's not about guessing. It's about listening to what your body's already trying to say.

Have you tried muscle testing before? Tell us in the comments, or send us a message if you're curious to try it. 🌿

Most people treat mineral deficiency as an adults-only, "I'm just tired" issue. But we see it constantly in kids and teenage boys, and it usually shows up as things parents chalk up to normal: restless sleep, mood swings, slow growth spurts, getting sick more than their siblings.

Here's the piece that surprised even us: boys and men are wired to hold onto minerals very differently than girls and women. Higher body fat in females actually helps retain minerals. Boys don't have that same buffer, which means cellular dehydration is way more common in them than most parents realize.

The good news: this is one of the most fixable things in a kid's (or adult's) health picture, once you know what their body is actually asking for. Not every mineral, not every form, not every dose works the same for every system.

That's exactly what muscle testing helps us figure out.

Curious what minerals you (or your kid, or your husband) might be deficient in?
Type "CURIOUS" in the comments and we'll reach out to get you set up with a muscle testing session, no guessing required.

Fun fact: your nervous system can't tell the difference between "I'm being hunted" and "I'm stuck in traffic." Same stress response, every time.

That's why 10 minutes outside actually works. It's not woo woo, it's your body finally getting a signal that says "we're safe now."

I see this shift in patients constantly. The ones who add short walks outside between sessions heal faster than the ones who don't move at all.

Drop a 🌿 below if you're trying this today.

Antibiotics, antifungals, steroids... these are emergency medications. They're not meant to be your first response to every sinus infection, sore throat, or skin flare-up.

Western medicine is incredible when you're seriously ill. But for most everyday, chronic-level stuff? That's where herbs, homeopathy, and root-cause care come in, tools that support your body instead of just suppressing symptoms.

You don't have to choose one or the other. You just need to know which tool fits the situation. That's what we help families figure out every day.

Have questions about what's actually going on with your health? Send us a DM, we'll help you sort emergency vs. chronic care.

Who said this:

“You may be flawed, anxious and sometimes irritated, but remember that your life is the biggest business in the world. ”
Only you can stop them from declining.
Those who appreciate, admire and love you are many And you don’t know it but there are people you’re special to
I want you to remember that happiness is not having a sky without storms, walking without accidents, working without fatigue, personal relationships without disappointments.
Being happy is finding strength in forgiveness, hope in battles, confidence in fear, love in discord.
Being happy does not only mean valuing the smile, but also reflecting on the sadness.
It's not just about commemorating success but learning the lessons of failure.
It’s not just joy with applause, but joy in anonymity.
Being happy is recognizing that life is worth living despite all the challenges, sadness, misunderstandings and moments of emotional and economic crisis.
Being happy is not a destiny, but a conquest for those who know how to travel in their own being.
Being happy is to stop being a victim of problems and become an actor of your own story.
It's like walking through deserts outside of yourself, but managing to find an oasis deep in your soul.
It's to thank God every morning for the miracle of life.
Being happy is not being afraid of your feelings.
It's all about talking about yourself.
Have the courage to hear a "no" even from those you love.
It is about having the confidence to receive criticism, even if it is unfair.
It’s hugging children, cuddling parents, having poetic moments with friends, even if they hurt us.
To be happy means to let live the free, happy and simple creature that lives in each of us.
Being matured means saying "I was wrong".
Have the courage to say "forgive me. ”
It's having a sensitivity to say "I need you".
Is having the ability to say I love you.
May your life become a garden of opportunities for happiness..
May you be a lover of joy in your fountains.
May you be a friend of wisdom and peace through your winters.
And when you make a mistake along the way, you start again.
Well you will be more passionate about life.
And you’ll find that being happy doesn’t mean having a perfect life.
But she uses tears to tolerate water.
Use losses to sharpen your patience.
Use the Fallas to sculpt serenity.
Use pleasure to drive away pain.
Use obstacles to open windows of intelligence.
Don't ever give up...
Never give up on the people you love.
Never give up on happiness, because life is a show not to be missed! "

If you can pass it on, please. Humanity will thank you
