✨ WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU GET QUIET ENOUGH TO HEAR YOURSELF?

There's another part of Sacred Return I haven't talked much about yet.

For much of my life and throughout my work, I've had the ability to connect with the spiritual realm and receive intuitive guidance.

And one thing I've learned through that work is that guidance isn't always absent when we feel disconnected from it.

Sometimes our lives are simply too loud to hear it.

We're solving problems.

We're worrying about what's next.

We're questioning ourselves.

✨ WHAT IF CHOOSING YOURSELF STARTS HERE?

It's interesting how easy it can be to spend our time, energy and money taking care of everyone and everything around us…

and how much harder it can feel to invest those same things in ourselves.

We think about it.

We justify it.

We wonder if we really need it.

We tell ourselves maybe later.

And sometimes we even feel guilty for wanting something that's simply for us.

But here's a question I've been thinking about:

What if choosing yourself isn't something you learn after you begin Sacred Return?

What if choosing Sacred Return is part of the lesson?

Not because you need another thing on your calendar.

✨ YOU CAN BE GRATEFUL FOR YOUR LIFE AND STILL WANT MORE

Sometimes we confuse gratitude with settling.

We tell ourselves:

I have so much to be grateful for.

Other people have it worse.

I shouldn't want more.

I should just be happy with what I have.

And yes, gratitude matters.

But gratitude was never meant to become a reason to stop listening to yourself.

You can love your family and need more time for yourself.

You can appreciate the life you've created and realize you've outgrown parts of it.

You can be grateful for what you have and still have dreams you haven't lived yet.

You can love who you've been and be curious about who else you might be.

You can say:

“I love my life…and there are still parts of me that want more.”

Those two truths can exist together.

Wanting more doesn't automatically mean you're ungrateful.

Sometimes it simply means you're still alive, growing, dreaming and discovering.

Sacred Return isn't about tearing apart the life you've built.

It's about asking whether you are fully present in it.

Is there room for your joy?

Your dreams?

Your desires?

Your curiosity?

Your adventure?

You don't have to reject your life to choose yourself more fully within it.

✨ LOVING YOURSELF AND CHOOSING YOURSELF AREN'T ALWAYS THE SAME THING

You can love yourself…

and still say yes when you really want to say no.

You can love yourself…

and still put everyone else's needs ahead of your own.

You can love yourself…

and still silence what you want because you're afraid someone will be disappointed.

You can love yourself…

and still stay in situations you've outgrown because changing them feels uncomfortable.

Sometimes self-love isn't the problem.

The challenge is learning to choose yourself.

Choosing yourself can mean honoring the boundary even when someone doesn't like it.

Making time for something simply because it brings you joy.

Allowing your needs to carry as much importance as everyone else's.

Trusting what you know about yourself instead of continually asking other people for permission.

And sometimes it means admitting:

“This doesn't work for me anymore.”

Choosing yourself doesn't mean you stop considering the people you love.

It means you stop disappearing from your own decisions.

That's one of the deeper lessons of Sacred Return.

We're not simply learning how to feel more love for ourselves.

We're learning how to let that love change the way we live, choose, speak and show up for ourselves.
