Big news in hearing care! 🧏‍♀️ The FDA has approved the first-ever gene therapy designed to restore hearing for people born with a rare form of genetic deafness.

While this treatment currently only applies to a VERY small group of people with OTOF-associated deafness, it marks an exciting step forward, and future gene therapies may open the door for other forms of genetic hearing loss.
