Standing on one foot isn't real balance training. Here's what actually is. π
Most balance training keeps you standing in place, but real life doesn't work that way. Here's why moving matters:
β
Real-life balance happens in motion. Stepping off a curb, walking on uneven ground, catching a stumble. None of that happens standing still.
β
Dynamic balance is a full-body team effort. When something catches you off guard, your muscles and nervous system have milliseconds to react. Static training just can't build that kind of speed.
β
Poor dynamic balance is a leading cause of falls and injuries. That rolled ankle, that fall, that knee tweak on a quick turn. They often happen because the body couldn't react fast enough.
Save this as your reminder to train balance the way you actually use it. π²
