No, but the early teen years are full of huge changes. Knowing what’s developmentally typical can make the ride a little less confusing. 💕

We’re loving this book by Late Night with Seth Meyers at my house for talking about fears! 🐻 One of my favorite messages is that our fears often grow much bigger in our imaginations than they are in real life. For example, a bear in the story is terrified to climb a huge mountain - only to later realize it’s not that tall after all. 🥹

This is one of those priceless books I can use at both home and work with anxious clients. Kids learn in a playful way that what seems huge and insurmountable today may be more doable tomorrow. ❤️
