Congenital symmastia is an extremely rare condition where the natural breast tissue is connected across the midline of the chest, creating little to no separation between the breasts. In more than 30 years of practice, this is the first case of congenital symmastia Dr. C has encountered!

Dr. C corrected the connection between the breasts by carefully removing the excess tissue in the cleavage area with liposuction, helping restore natural definition and separation.

Because this patient is young, we expect her skin to continue retracting and healing beautifully over the coming months. ✨
